We had a good day walking and shops were still open when we got back. 1st of December. Good car park only cost a €1.00 to park all day.

Lovely walk along the canal and we got to see the barges. Worth a visit if you like stunning and relaxing scenery. Didn't visit the cafe but wish we had now. A nice way to spend some time

Lovely walks in and around this place. Not much going on in October but pleasant walking by the canal. Beautiful scenery getting to the wharf and there were at least 50 boats and barges moored there. There is also a cottage to rent and cafe with information centre.

Easy parking. Just £1 for the day. The machine does not take cards. Big thank you to the two lads who kindly gave me 30p so I had enough change!! Brilliant location for launching a paddleboard. Go left for Llanfoist /Blaenavon/Govolion Gilwern/ Brecon and right for pontypool!!!!

I didn't know what to expect so made an exploratory visit. It's a starting point for walks with boats. It's a little bit of a drive down a country road but has a car park (£1 for the day), a cafe and benches. You can come along to meet friends and have a cuppa. You come along to hire a boat. You can come along to go for a walk. It's well kept and interesting. It's nice to meander about but you'll be best going off for a walk along the canal, really.Good nature spot.

Great family location. £1 for parking and the 30 minute boat trip for £3 (adult) is a bargain and the skippers are awesomeLovely walks along the canal in both directions and a cafe to keep hydrated too

Goytre Wharf is situated on a particularly pleasant stretch of the Mon-Brecon Canal with easy walks through surrounding woodland and scattered tables for a picnic, although the cafe does very reasonably priced snacks and drinks. A trip on a boat costs a mere three pounds for half an hour, excellent value.

Beautiful river ride. Safe river with no current. Plenty of parking on site. Free parking for red line customers. £1 all day at public car park. Walking routes available along the river. Reasonable prices for canoe hire.
