The atmosphere and location gave me a feeling of being in a foreign country. It's classy, the food is infused with rich flavours. The passion and choice of ingredients in the kitchen is just phenomenal. I was glad to be surprised and experience new flavours. Wonderful

The service and atmosphere were lovely, but unfortunately the food wasn't great. The scallop was really good so we were so excited about the mains... but the squid ink pasta was awfully done. They were all stuck together and the texture wasn't nice at all. The sauce and seafood were lovely though!Duck was over cooked and sauce tasted a bit like ketchup...I feel bad to say this as the staff were all very friendly.

It was ok. Food was slightly underwhelming and dare I say it a little bland. The muscle starter for nearly £8 only had 5 muscles in it and the king prawns a disappointing small 4. The king prawns were tough and not very enjoyable. The pizza was ok but again just ok. The pork tomahawk was just a fatty tough bit of meat. But the most bizarre part of the evening was when a young lad stood next to our table as the starters were served and started doing magic tricks. He was the entertainment for the evening. Never in my life have I wanted for a magic trick to be performed whilst I sit in a restaurant. All in all, it could be good but on this visit it was far from it.

An excellent stop for Italian food if you're in Abergavenny. Don't let the informal exterior seating fool you - there's some very good quality food here and the inside is a definite cut above a lot of small restaurants. My Pizza Calzone was spot on and the tiramisu was likewise excellent. The ladies and gents doing the service were kept on their toes, but were very friendly and always had the time to be attentive during our visit. Watching the movements, though, I couldn't shake the feeling that they might be very stretched during the busiest periods when service was in full swing.Pro tip: book a table, especially on a Friday evening. We were lucky as walk-ins, but we arrived early in the evening and I'm not sure I'd want to chance it a second time.

The food in this restaurant has totally different flavours to other Italian restaurants we have dined in. Visited twice recently you need to book in advance. There are ground floor and 1st floor dining areas with ramped access to the ground floor. House red wine is full bodied and good value. All dishes good sized portions I had the slow cooked beef with the roast potatoes absolutely recommend this unique dish. The roast potatoes are unlike any other roast potatoes we have ever tasted with Italian herbs. All dishes are fantastic. The lemon cheesecake is zingy and fresh, beautifully light and a great portion. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely service and setting. Only reason for 4 stars is the price. Cocktails are more expensive than a lot of city restaurants.

Super delicious food and really friendly staff. Wiped my bowl clean😋 Relaxed atmosphere, and amazing value for money!Definitely recommend visiting here if you're in the area 😀

Had a beautiful meal here at a very reasonable price. Lovely staff and great quality of food including the portion size!

Unfortunately we had an awful meal here. The pizzas were massively over cooked, they got my brothers order wrong twice. Although, starters were ok but dessert was the best part.

Food and service was second to none but this venue does not cater for the disabled. If you are a wheelchair user unfortunately this isn't the venue for you. This is a huge disappointment as I would recommend this place more if it was accessible. The Christmas decorations were perfect, very stylish. Stairs to the upstairs seating area are very steep. Price is not too expensive. Means we're stunning
