Great food. Great staff. It was very busy, so that's a good sign. Service was a little slow, however it was extremely busy. The lounge has a great warm open fire. Well recommended for a cosy good portions and extremely good value.

Met friends for lunch we had a long wait for our lunch. The food was good hot and tasty but the service was lack lustre the woman who served us seemed disinterested in us as customers. We won't be going again.

This is the cutest pub, I totally loved staying here, nice clean room, amazing food, I had the best but roast ever, and the tapas was fabulous, the staff were lovely and friendly, plenty of room for parking, and nice walks into the parkland. Ideal for a weekend get away.

While staying in the area for a few days was suggested here. They accept dogs which was good and the dinning decor was great with lining etc. The service was a bit slow because they were currently short staffed but never the less weee friendly. The steak was undercooked and the salad it came with was very basic the chips were also under cooked for the price of a London pub they could do better and hope they do. I would visit again in hopes they are staffed properly and food quality is better as waiting 45mins for food when including us there was 2 other tables.

A strange menu though the food was great, friendly staff. A little cramped inside. Lovely spacious gardens. Some nice dog walks from the car park to build your appetite

just got back from one night away in the large room no 3 with the four poster bed .On arrival we were met by one of the bar staff who really had a job to welcome us .the pub its self is a typical country pub with the locals being very friendly. The room is well equipped but the cleaner needs to use a little bit more elbow grease and lift her or his duster a bit higher as there was quite a few cobwebs around the wall lights and furniture.breakfast was good apart from lavabread and cockles with a fry up ? sorry just wasn't us .Good choice though with several options including Manx kippers, smoked haddock etcover all don't think we would stop there again

A cosy country pub with a wide range of quality ales and ample parking. It has a very extensive food menu. The quality of the food based on one visit was good but not exceptional. Staff are friendly and helpful. They do not do lunches everyday so check before you go. The lunchtime service is from 12:30 to 2pm. Prices are about right, about £14 for fish and chips. Beer is around £4 per pint depending on which beer you choose.
