Enjoyed a good meal as a stopover on our way to Snowdonia from Cornwall. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Nice old pub with a local vibe whilst being very warm and welcoming to tourists such as myself and my partner. Staff went out of their way to be helpful to us and made us feel at home. The food was also tasty, with a half decent range of veggie options.

Had fish finger sandwich with chips at 1.30 and am still stuffed. Hubby had roast pork stuffing and apple sauce sandwich with roast potatoes and gravy on the side and he's the same. Well worth going, not expensive for what you get and lady at the bar was lovely and gave our two dogs a raw carrot each.

Friendly place, food and drink both very good, the staff were pleasant to chat with on a blowy night. The chef was especially amiable,and pleased to receive his well-deserved praise.
