Newbridge on Usk in Monmouthshire

SHOCKINGLY POOR - stopped for lunch as the menu looked nice online, arrived to be told they were only serving steak and chips or fish and chips, no vegetarian options and no effort from the staff to offer any alternative so we had to leave and find lunch elsewhere. Very disappointing as we'd driven all the way there especially, won't be returning or recommending!

Beautiful location and the rooms very cosy and comfortable.Food was delicious and the service was really good. Breakfast was continental only, but there was a great selection.

Usually great meal spoilt by Cod dish served without crust and swimming in sauce. Told waiter and returned it with an uncooked crust “stuck on”Smoked trout starter with no smoke !Disappointing meal.

Went for Sunday lunch. Lovely place with good river views and ambience. SUPERB food; every morcel perfect and unique🙂😋 Excellent friendly service. But remember bottled water is extra (a lot). Tricky place for wheelchair users. Our dining chairs were very uncomfortable! But left very happy🙂

A very nice boutique bed & breakfast.Nicely off the beaten track. Nice rooms and very friendly helpful staff.The restaurant menu is also superb!10/10 fully recomend it!

We went for Sunday lunch and had an extremely nice meal. A very nice restaurant and the staff were all very polite. Would highly recommend.

Stayed overnight in a lovely room. Staff friendly and helpful. As for the food. Very disappointed. Don't go there if you're hungry....portions tiny!
