Pizza Express in Monmouthshire

I've not been to Pizza Express for decades but felt Monmouth had run out of good options. So I gave PE a try. There was an irritating family initially, but luckily, they left after I'd ordered. Peace was restored. The temperature of the restaurant was suitable (air conditioning was installed). The staff were polite and very efficient, and the food was fresh and tasty, so I had three courses. I would undoubtedly return to Pizza Express again.

Food was delicious but service was slow, even though the restaurant was fairly empty. Took my kids and had a good time here though, they provided crayons & kids menus (with games & places to draw on it) which was good.

We love an occasional trip to pizza express, they are very welcoming to young families.However their gluten-free pizza base is very poor by comparison with the Ask GF pizza base.

Always a great meal at Monmouth Pizza Express. Staff friendly and helpful and look forward to the meal and wine as a monthly treat. Never disappointed.

Staff were extremely helpful, polite, courteous and professional. Our meals were served in great time and were very enjoyable.

It was OK. Nice for families with young kids. That said I am not a huge fan of pizza. Teenager's staple diet! Staff were polite and keen and very nice though!

Wasn't too keen on going in but my family wanted to give it a try. I had the stuffed mushroom to start and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had pasto polo Porto for main and exceeded my expectations, so creamy and full of flavour. To finish, Tiramisu and wow, loved it so I was really pleased that we went in. Staff attentive, extremely clean place and definitely go again.

The branch is modern, bright and thriving when I visited. Unfortunately, the chicken Caesar salad had two pieces of anchovies in when I had a mild allergy to it. The host was apoolgietic and the manager resolves my issue promptly. Luckily it was not that severe a reaction but the branch should pay attention in future regarding allergies. Other than that, dough balls were great. Service was friendly. I would still visit again nevertheless.

My husband and I eat here every week as live local. We love it. The staff are great,, so friendly and very efficient. The food is also always excellent. It’s the best place in Monmouth for reliably good food and outstanding service
