Very dog friendly with dog beds and snacks for them. However very limited choices left on the menu said the delivery van had broken down. Food was okish, wasn't very hot and the pastry on the pie needed a saw to get through it. When speaking to or landlord he said they are always saying that 🤔

Had a brilliant meal with friends tonight. The food was amazing and plenty of choice of quality local beers. The kitchen staff were up for a laugh and good fun. Well recommend a visit.

Had a stay of a week in a Punch House and what can i say. Rooms are lovely. Bedding soft, pillows perfect, showers really nice and warm. Loved my stay there. The bar/pub downstairs had the loveliest of staff, great drinks for a great price. i really cant think of anything negative about Punch House. Cannot wait to come over again and have an amazing stay! Thank you to the whole team from kitchen to management!

Lovely meal. Really dog friendly which is great. Enjoyed our visit. We will return when next in Monmouth.

Bar and restaurant were Weatherspoons kind of standard enjoyed our meal and staff were niceHotel was interesting, we had 2 rooms, holes in the carpet, damaged shower drains. But the "best bit" was the green emergency light over the bed which kept us awake all night. Some enterprising soul stuck a winegum to it on a previous stay but although it did dull it a bit, the light managed to shine through

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Menu looked okay and it was dog friendly which is what we needed. Menu stated that sandwiches came with crisps but none with ours. When questioned we were told that if you had the optional soup I which was extra) you didn’t get the crisps too, no mention of this on the menu though. Menu also said that sandwiches were buttered but the ham ploughman’s one we had wasn’t and was very dry. We were also overcharged which was grumpily refunded when questioned. Not a place I’d go back to.

Stopped here halfway through a long walk. It's a good central location. It had a good atmosphere for a Monday lunch time and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. The food was cheap and good - good portions too. No bells and whistles, just a good local pub. Dog friendly also!

What a friendly & welcoming pub. Vicky was extremely hospitable & made us and our dog Teddy feel very comfortable. Service was always quick and with a smile. A real classic pub, couldn’t recommend more
