Delicious. Chips cooked perfectly and chicken portion great too. Well worth a visit

Lovely Chips, quite busy so took a bit of time no a 4.5 not a 5.0. Renewable paper used no Styrofoam all good

We were staying at the Catld as part of the event. We approached Raglan Fryer with a huge order for all the reenactors, didn't even phase them! Good portions. Highly recommended

Probably the worst fish and chips I have had the misfortune to pay £7 for.

Arrived 30 minutes before closing (8.30). A very polite young lady took my order with a not so polite elderly woman chiming in with brash comments in the background throughout.The elderly woman then turned around to walk towards the rear of the shop and stated "I will have to turn the chip fryer back on now for F$*k sake". She made it abundantly clear that this was an inconvenience and did not want my custom.I explained to the young lady (who was clearly embarrassed and really did not deserve to witness the old woman's disgraceful attitude that I didn't visit to receive such rude behaviour and to let the clearly disgruntled woman know not to inconvenience herself.If the old woman is not the owner - she needs dealing with. If she is, she may want to consider that a business without customers doesn't do too well.

Good local chippy with consistent food.Open 6 days a week for lunch and dinner. Reasonably priced and phone orders accepted

Last week at the grand old age of 61 I enjoyed the best Large Cod and Chips that i have ever tasted. It was so good that we returned today and the meal was equally as good. Highly recommended.

Nicest Fish & Chips I’ve had for a long time. Lucky find. Next time I’ll go out of my way to travel here.
