Excellent! The food was outstanding. My wife and I both had the vegetarian option, and did not miss the meat all. The staff were friendly and the venue was excellent. Will definitely visit again. Also Dog friendly. If fact we also had tea and cake after our visit to the Abbey. Photos of me and the tea rooms taken by my wife.

Fab food, service slow but was really busy so understandable. Great for disabled access too!

We called in early evening and found the service and food excellent. We choose 2 starters to share which where so tasty, hot, good size portions and very good quality. Then we had hot pudding, was delicious!I was delighted with the choice of gluten free options which was very good, also we the knowledge of the staff.

Went for a nice long walk then stopped off at The Anchor Inn for some much needed grub. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. My dog loved his patty as well you cant have food and have nothing for the doggy now can you?

Lovely location, great pub food, I just went and had fish and chips and was really nice and the homemade tarter sauce was lush! If you fancy a lovely relaxing evening I'd recommend this place. Staff are really friendly and helpful, and to top everything off you are walking out into one of the most pleasant villages in Wales, what more could you really ask for.

Amazing! Service was really friendly and the food was simple but very tasty. Highly recommend.

You pay £3 to park, then take half of your ticket into the pub for a refund. There isn't an indication you have to do that in the car park, so I didn't, and couldn't be arsed to walk back for a second time to get it. The car park is cash only. Who carries cash for the last 2 years? Anyway, functional surroundings in the 'conservatory', cream tea was pleasant enough, although I don't think I have ever had flatter scones! Dog friendly, staff friendly enough, just missing something.

Such a lovely little pub! Food was absolutely delicious 😋 Staff were so lovely and friendly too 😊 We'll definitely be back! Well worth a visit!

Good pub, excellent food and good range of beers and drinks. Plenty of space inside, large outdoor space, children's play area and decent loos. Parking on site (cash only) refunded on purchase of something in the pub or at the Abbey. We had lunch here and I would recommend.

Great place to stop for lunch before a visit to the Abbey or walk along the river. Lovely old building with plenty of seating inside and out, and two good sized car parks adjacent. Don't forget to take cash for the machines which the pub will reimburse. Interesting menu with lots of local ingredients and a good selection of vegetarian options. First time I've seen a veggie hunters chicken on a menu, and it was delicious. Staff were also very friendly.
