What a great pub. Popped in for a quick swig after an exhausting Xmas shopping session in Waitrose. Landlord most welcoming and accommodating. Cracking pint of Stowford Press and a Tankers G&T for £11.50. Clean, warm, great Christmas atmosphere, what more do you want. Get in there, first pub weve been in since August and what a great choice. I shall return, General Mcarthur.

Very good local real ale on here (how about a beer menu board outside? I walked passed the place a couple of times). Will's dad was behind the bar, being very helpful and courteous. Probably can be trusted again 😊

Really nice pub on the river Usk overlooking Castle Meadows just on the edge of Abergavenny. There was a live band on and it was great fun. Lovely staff too.
