Fish and chips shouldn’t be difficult to fry but we were very disappointed with what we were sold last week. The fish had been cooked more than once and the batter was that chewy even the cat turned her nose up at it.The chips were soggy and had been cooked in dirty fat.The staff were scruffy and inattentive. The only positive notes are that it was hot and the service was quick.

Small portion of chips cost £2.10, and was nicely cooked. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic food, freshly cooked, covid safe, The staff are absolutely fantastic. Very clean. High customer service, the staff are very friendly and very welcoming. The prices are good. I have had food many times from here and always enjoyed, but the last 2 times there has been very little fish in the batter, really disappointing! Sorry for the negative review but I’m hoping this will get you to review the problem.

Large portions of fish and the small chips is easily enough for two. Our order was filled with a piece of cod freshly cooked with crispy batter and a piece that had been cooked earlier and was soggy . Overall OK but not great.

Great tasting food at a great price, good traditional menu to choose from. Staff are friendly, polite and happy to help. Well worth a visit.

We went for lunch at the codfather today good old fish and chips with peas and curry on the side. It was brilliant and easily the best fish and chips we have had since leaving Lancashire 3-years ago. Excellent.

Just ordered via Just Eat, I accidentally messed up the time for delivery I wanted it for 5pm. However it said ASAP but, I have to say that was the swiftest take away order I have ever placed lol. Absolutely beautiful fish n' chips and super fast service thank you 👍❤️ loved too. Thank you

Criminally overpriced.£2.50 for a bag of chips they call 'large', but just about anywhere else would be medium (and a small medium at that). And sadly the quality of the chips doesn't justify the cost either. I get far better chips from my local chippy in Birmingham for literally half the price. Not particularly friendly either, unusual for Welsh folk.
