Great atmosphere. There was live music. Bar staff was really friendly.

Friendly pub, plenty of seats available to enjoy the lovely sunshine and in winter a lovely warm fire inside. Friendly service and good all round pub. Only minus 1 star as the toilets desperately need an update. They were the same 21 years ago and haven't changed since. Hand dryer has a mind of its own.

We felt very lucky to find this pub. It is a brilliant drinkers pub. Good beer at very good prices! Nice charcterful pub, Quiz nights, jukebox, pool table and plenty of seating inside and out. It is a dog friendly pub, there is dog hair about. But with no food, I see no problem. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area!!

Very nice friendly pub with great professional staff, serve a good pint. Dog friendly, so my dog's tell me lol. Hero loves it and Tali is just a bit shy lol

Seeming I got you guys confused with the castle Inn, thought I would change my review ( obviously spending too much time in pubs they all blur into one )One of the best tasting pints around, great price and the beer garden is a lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon chatting and people watching
