Very nice large room with very comfy bed. Good shower. Short on room supplies of tea bags coffee etc. Average breakfast with inedible fried bread and bread in bacon sandwich.

Visited The Hardwick for a birthday celebration and stayed overnight at their accommodation Received a very warm welcome Room was warm and comfortable. Spent our evening in the restaurant. Food was excellent as was the service. Nothing was too much trouble. Chef Terry was an absolute gentleman , very friendly and genuine. Breakfast was also a treat. Will definitely be visiting again.

We went to the Hardwick on a Sunday to meet friends we hadn't seen in a while. In total we had 7 adults and 4 children. They put us in the far room which was very busy when we arrived.The staff were very helpful. The only minor thing I would say is they were quite slow getting drinks. One of the kids didn't want to eat until they had their drink, and it took nearly 20 minutes to come.The food was alright. I had the pork for starter. And the pork roast for main. Then finished with the lemon crunch.Nice venue, worth a try if you are in the area.

Bar staff very knowledgeable & professional. Waiting staff very polite and approachable. Food most delectable amd cooked to perfection. Only small negative of a long wait for starters on a quiet night, the rest of the courses were appropriately timed and well received. Will definitely visit again.

Love the ambience and decor here and the tables are well spaced out. Great food (had the steak) and the service was impeccable and attentive. Best food we have had for some time.

What can I say, it's all so good the staff are lovely the place is too the food is truly amazing not small portions though so beware great atmosphere don't miss out on this place it's a real treat plus they use locally sourced produce

Stylish restaurant just outside Abergavenny, quality of the food outstanding with great wine list. Definitely worth a visit.

Probably the best restaurant in Wales. I don't know of a better one.Food was excellent, the wine list extensive suitable for all tastes and pockets.Loved my 'H' cocktail.The staff were friendly and helpful taking everything in good humour.

All we can say is Wow!! Me and my girlfriend came here for dinner on new year's eve and the food was sensational. I've eaten in a fair few Michelin star restaurants including the whitebrook, Manor House and Restaurant Gordon Ramsey and the food here blew our minds. The service was excellent, the ambience and atmosphere is cosy. Will be back for sure!!

OMG! Totally bonkers prices. £31 for lamb chops, my partner and I stopped off at the which we thought was a pub on our way back from West Wales as we're starving. We had an amazing time only because we were laughing so much at the prices! Nice food but definitely not worth the prices! And they even added a 10% service charge on top. 3 stars for how the place looked, no stars for food.
