The Lamb & Flag in Monmouthshire

Dave And Angela were very attentive host, we held out fathers wake at the pub which was both private and more than adequate. After the wake we dinned in the restaurant and Shea our waitress who looked after us extremely well.We along with other family member stayed at the hotel, rooms are very modern and comfortable highly recommend if passing through. Great open space and they make your stay very special. Thank you Dave & Angela and the Team

Extremely pleasant, lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious and hot. In spite of being short-staffed due to Covid the service was 1st class. Thank you for making my birthday meal memorable.

Gorgeous food and stunning surroundings. Chae and the other waiters were very helpful and welcoming. Only complaint was the tiny Naan bread 😂 but otherwise food was delicious

Wanted to try somewhere different and out of town so opted for this cute little place. It certainly didn't disappoint!!Staff were welcoming and it had a lovely atmosphere to it. The menu was also lovely offering a wide choice of various foods.Just the right size of menu.Our food came out and the plates Were hot as was the food. Nothing worse than cold plates or food. Really enjoyed both our meals and the chocolate brownie pudding waslovely too. We will definitely go back. Views around the pub would be amazing on a sunny day. Especially sat outside. Definitely recommend

Stunning food, massive portions! Staff were all very attentive including Angela, Nicole & Paige. Quick service and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be returning soon.

We are leaving the Lamb & Flag tomorrow after a two night stay as we have been visiting our daughter & family. The accommodation was comfortable & very clean. We had two evening meals & one breakfast during our stay & cannot fault any of the food. The staff were friendly & attentive & the service was exceptional. Well done. We will definitely be back next time we need somewhere local to our daughter to stay. Thank you

Food was delicious and good value.We had the shared Sunday roast platter. Only downside was the sheer amount of veg. Would have rather the choice of more potatoes instead of a ton of sprouts and swede which we didn't really want.Overall though really tasty and decent value. Staff were excellent.

A nice outdoor space to sit and allow the little people to play in the park. We stopped on the off chance and ended up having food which was good and fair sized portions. The place is clean and tidy with full covid measures in place. We all ate and you can have a 2 course day menu for £12.50 a head. The staff were friendly although perhaps keep the Internal issues away from the customers as arguing between staff isn't great customer facing. All in all worth a visit.
