Didn’t actually stay overnight, we had Sunday lunch on Sunday 26th June , food was utterly delicious, meat was tender & beautifully cooked, the cracking was crisp & very tasty, veg was perfectly cooked as were the roast potatoes & homemade Yorkshire pudding, by far the best Sunday roast I have ever had πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ surroundings & garden are beautiful 😍

The Olway Inn was THE most lovely stay ever! We stayed on the Jubilee weekend and the staff were so so lovely! The chef was amazing and so was the food. The rooms were spotless, super cosy and comfy! If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Usk look no further! Thankyou for a lovely weekend!

Visited on 2 occasions for Sunday dinner on both occasions the food has been excellent with nicely cooked meats and good portions of vegetables .Have had to.ask for extra gravy on both occasions to pour over the veg but never an issue staff are friendly too .This is high praise ....because if I'm honest I find most places really can't provide a home made Sunday roast dinner ...but this place certainly can

I was very impressed with our overnight stay at the Olway. The reception was friendly, the beer is good, the rooms are very clean and modern. There was a selection of tea coffee biscuits and sweets, modern shower room with towels and soaps etc.The location is very quiet and is about a 10 minute walk from the centre. The food is amazing, I had slow roast belly pork with vegetables and look at that desert! Breakfast was first class too and they catered for my vegan friend very well. The only niggle was the WiFi is slow, and I couldn't get a mobile signal with O2, (although EE worked fine). There's a TV in the room that works well.We were also able to store our bikes securely in the garage.Thank you for a great stay!

We had a wonderful three night stay. Nicola and Matt were the most friendly and helpful hosts. Luke and the bar & restaurant staff have the same friendly demeanor. They make everyone welcome, generating a lovely relaxed ambiance. This attracts locals and business / holiday guests, many of whom are return visitors. The food is delicious and the portions generous. However, this is not standard pub fare. Nicola takes real pride in cooking everything from scratch. Every dish starter, main and dessert is prepared by Nicola and Matt. Nicola's formal training as a chef shines through! I commended her on the depth of flavor of her hot chicken curry. The next evening she brought me her beef to taste... delicious! Curry seems to be very popular with the guests. The garden and outside space is very well kept and adds to the relaxed atmosphere.Thank you for a lovely stay!

I had a lovely pint downstairs and heard some great stories. Breakfast was great and the umbrella in the room was a useful touch! Many thanks!

Simple fresh food cooked nicely. Happy to leave a good review and definitely will return after receiving attentive staff and a good experience in a cosy pub with a fire to relax by.

Simply Fantastic!!I have stayed here on business a number of times, and have tried to book a room to bring my wife here for the last few years. I struck lucky, with the last room being available Saturday 12th of February. The long drive from Kent was worth it. The food was a great as ever (the half and half hot curry, is very highly recommended), the friendly welcome and service we received was as good, if not better, than many of the 5 star hotels I have stayed in.We will be back. Thank you!!

A return visit to this lovely pub with 9 letting rooms. Great hosts, nice pub garden & a good food menu. Only fault the location of a heated towel rail right next to the toilet! Not much room between bath & wall with towel rail we had to keep it covered at all times to stop accidental touching (room 2). However, we will return as this is good value for money & a good location to explore the local area.
