Wow - the staff are FANTASTIC - from the Kitchen to the bar staff including Curtis the manager - Who is very hot - so you have to go and check him out as well as the wine bar - sell ice cream's also.Parking - free on road and car park nearby.

A wonderful restaurant with very friendly staff, John & Tracy (the owners) were courteous and made us feel welcome. The restaurant (now named the Ribera) is in a great spot on the River Wye with pleasant views. The food was exceptional and I can honestly say the Sunday roast was the best I have ever tasted and I do not give compliments like that away lightly. We actually dined here three days in a row! We will certainly be returning.

Great place for a drink and snack with friendly staff and great views of the river Wye and cliffs. The castle is close by as well. Well worth time out here especially when the weather is a bit kinder.

Lovely drinks and great food really good portions. The Pims pitcher is a MUST in the summer time! Great service, even though the football was on outside, the staff were checking on us inside. Only thing I will say is the menu is VERY limited and didn’t have everything advertised as online. Bit of a shame but we still had a great time!

Poor service, very slow and different prices for the same drinks. Not able to order food although only around 4 tables eating.interesting on a Friday night that the manager/owner can afford to be sat down eating and drinking with friends. We were 1 group of about 4 others who were told they couldn't order food due to it being too busy. We would expect after being closed for so long due to Covid ,they would be really keen and eager to give great service and get some money through the tills. Interesting that they are promoting their planing permission to improve the place, I really think that it's not the premises that needs improvement, but the customer experience. Will not be recommending or visiting again.

Good choice of a pub - restaurant - cafe in Chepstow. Located in a nice area, by the river, which you can actually see when sitting outside at the top tables. Good food, although the options are quite limited. Good service and friendly staff. Overall reasonable prices. Good interior.

Nice cozy little bar, food was decent and service was ok. Little noisy when we went (the table next to use obviously agreed because they asked to be moved). Can imagine the place is a lot nicer in the summer with the outside seating too.

lovely setting, but need to improve the food. Very basic and charged at premium prices. Both pics are portions that have just been put on the table, half a bland steak ciabatta and a spoonful of chips for a main meal. Spoke with the manager and was not charged for any food, so good customer services, hence the 3 stars, but still VERY HUNGRY!! we will come back to try again, and I'll update this post following that if it improves.

Nice place, lovely to sit outside by the river sipping G&T's and enjoying food in the sun!The draught cider was great too!Friendly staff and a good selection of gins + 'Fever Tree' tonic, what's not to like!My wife and I had a steak ciabatta sandwich, with a side of garlic mushrooms. Was pretty good too, although the portion of skinny fries included was tiny, see photo, and we were bewildered by the mushrooms, there were 5 & 1/2 ! (5 whole, 1 half) someone obviously decided that 5 wasn't enough, but 6 was too many! All good tho, will visit again.

Great service and delicious food. The location is absolutely wonderful - if the weather is nice, you can sit on the river.
