The Wheatsheaf Inn in Monmouthshire

An outstanding Sunday lunch with a good selection of beers (although they need to start having at least one darker beer regularly available). Lovely stone-built building with a cosy feel despite being deceptively large inside. Waiting staff excellent.

Great pub and food,polite and friendly staff as well, went there last night and the atmosphere great. We were deciding to go home after a drink and then a staff member came over to our table and got us another drinks order, very impressed and lovely service. Will be going back for sure!

We had the roast lamb for Sunday lunch which was excellent and very good value for money. A real olde worlde decor and a great ambience. Excellent customer service

The staff were warm , welcoming and very helpful . The food was delicious,well presented and good portions too. Sticky toffee pudding was yummy! Keep up the good work. We will certainly return when in the area again.

What a fabulous meal. Superbly cooked. Taste was literally out of this world. First class. Will definitely visit again, despite the one hours drive to get there.

Found on a 'restaurants near me' search when we were in an unfamiliar location, the reviews are not wrong! Excellent food & service from a traditional pub! Plenty of parking too. Lovely village location 👍
