Large portions, reasonable prices and a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff too

Did we catch them on a bad night? Very disappointed overall during our visit on a Saturday evening with the family. My sirloin steak (ordered well done) was undercooked and side salad was covered in something that just didn't taste right. My son's fish was massive but "tasteless." The Chicken Tikka Masala was"nice" but accompanying chips with all meals were hard and tasted awful!Service was excellent but won't be returning..

Simply amazing. Went there for the Girlfriends birthday Food atmosphere and service were all exemplary. Wish I could give them 6*. They all went above and beyond

Never had a bad meal here, service is very attentive always a member of staff checking on the table to sure that everything is OK.Would recommend this place to anyone. Still following COVID rules and taking temperatures so if people are still anxious regarding COVID then this is a good place to go.

We have visited the Afan Tavern several times but last Friday evening was exceptional, the Scampi was so well cooked and full of flavour and such a generous portion as always. The Jam Roly-poly dessert was just as gorgeous which oozed with the most delicious jam and moist fluffy sponge, the ice-cream gave it a lovely hot/cold contrast. The Shiraz wine we choose accompanied the meal so well.We are looking forward to returning.

Service was very slow.. one particular waitress was very ignorant unhelpful she did not want to take our order…. Wanted dessert but left after being told repeatedly that she would be with us. So had desserts from the coop which was lovely.

Food was amazing, the staff were polite & attentive, didn't have to wait very long for food to arrive & it's very reasonably priced. Will definitely be paying another visit soon 😊

Good food, massive portions, value for money. Full rack of ribs was so big I only managed to eat third of it (took the rest home with me of course). Nice atmosphere, definitely worth visiting.

Incredible food! Can't wait to visit again this week. Quick service, great prices and huge portions. Very clean and staff were friendly. We had peppered chicken with chips and mega burger with fries.
