The pizza is a frozen Chicago town stuffed crust, don't get me wrong it's nice for £3 in Tesco's but not for £9 was hoping more from a new menu! Service was amazing as always though can't say anything bad about the staff or even the chef's, it's the food that came out was a massive let down!

A Saturday afternoon with not a full restaurant. We were welcomed to most tables with dirty plates on. Our table which was reserved was stinking. It had sticky ice-cream all over it and mashed in chips on the seats. The menus have not been cleaned in weeks, they were covered in sticky stuff and even hair and food stuck to them. The whole place was absolutely disgusting. The toilets welcomed you with the smell of urine and it was also all over the toilet seats and floor. The food was also disappointing although it was cheap. The bar ran out of napkins so was placing folded blue roll on the tables. The whole place needs shutting down for a few days and a deep clean needed urgently. It is very run down. Management really need to get a grip on standardsBefore someone is ill from this place. I will never return.

An extremely bad experience. Would not recommend going to The Bryncoch Inn for food! Drinks only - yes at a push, food - definitely not.We were a table of 11, the 4 children's meals came out with the wrong sides. 1 adult's meal took forever to come and when it did the chicken burger was brought out as a beef burger (sent it back), another adult's meal was forever coming as well, came out wrong (sent back!), waited ages again for the replacement, in the end we made a complaint and asked for our money back.Told our waiter on many occasions about the wrong orders, he just said ok and walked away and never returned, terrible service.A number of meals on the menu were unavailable, we experienced this on our last visit too. Very unorganised for a bank holiday weekend!Staff member's customer service is poor. The place is run by poor management. My opinion, they were understaffed, long queues for the bar and when we tried using the app, it didn't work efficiently. The only positive from our visit was the two drinks on the house.I will not be going there for food again and most definitely not recommending.

Was visiting my family who have recently moved to neath.Booked a table, found it easily with our name and time on paper on the table. The food was beautiful and very well priced. My sister and mum loved the cocktails.Pudding, the crumble was lush xOnly downfall was table was a bit sticky and there was no salt available. Many people asked, along with us on the night.I understand busy times means stock can get low but couldv grabbed some from the kitchen if sending someone to the nearest shop wasn't possible.Overall a beautiful meal, my mum and sister will be back as will I on my next visit.Thanku 💜

An excellent friendly pub with a great choice of items on the menu. Being of 'a certain age' the Golden Oldies lunch menu really appealed to us, a smaller section but nevertheless a delicious 2 or 3 course choice which proved to be superb value. Would certainly visit again.

So after a rough couple of years thanks to covid, myself, my mother in law and sister in law decided to visit the bryncoch Inn as its right on our doorstep. Needless to say we were looking forward for a nice, relaxing meal with nice staff. Unfortunately my mother in law ordered the curry, it was watery and did not come as advertised with the extras. The waiter who delivered our food clearly didn't want to be there, no smile, bit grumpy, didn't check to see if we needed anything else, just the small details really. My mother in law went to ask about the extras but was rudely told that they had run out of chutney etc. I will say that my steak was cooked to perfection but our desserts were clearly microwaved. Overall a less than average experience which is such a shame as we all live locally to this pub and we had all been looking forward to nice evening out.

Had the mixed grill here yesterday, it was delicious. Lovely and hot on the skillet, and the steak was cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend this friendly local pub to visit. Friendly and welcoming staff too, thoroughly enjoyed my visit here.

Very polite staff. Good food. Steaks were delish! Good prices and kids meals were nice. Our first time there and we loved it. We didn't book and found a table, most were reserved but they were very friendly and genuinely seemed pleased to have our custom. We had steaks, one serloin and one rump cooked medium rare. And three kids meals which was the mini mixed grill. Great value for money and piping hot. Steaks were so tasty.
