Cymer Fish Bar in Neath Port Talbot

Got 2x fish and chips this evening.Chips had a very musty nasty aftertaste indicating that they have been peeled and left in water too long.Called to let them know that the chips tasted bad (didn't want a refund or more chips) though they should know that the food did not taste good is all and I could her someone in the background giving attitude.The only reason I let them know was because I often get a takeaway from them and it is usually fine, obviously they prefer not to know when something is wrong with their food, would have continued to buy from them but wont bother now,

Cold food and can't spot the difference between the RED Coca Cola and a GREY diet coke...know the difference enough to overcharge!Beware, cans have their individual prices on them but they will charge even more. Utter rip off.

Decided to have take out so ordered from cymmer fish bar cheese burger and chips plus a large bottle of coke and a milk shake. 30 minutes later food came the cheese burger had kebab meat on top of the cheese and burger it was disgusting considering I ordered a cheese burger I don't like kebabs the chips were hard not fresh the only good thing was the coke and milk shake. I tried phoning but no answer. What a waste of money especially for me because I don't have much . I will never order from cymmer fish bar again.

Burgers were plain no love, batter on fish was heavy on plus side chips were ok. Just needs some love people have takeaway for a treat but they fall short of making any effort

the stacked burger was absolutely fantastic, and as someone who searches for good burgers far and wide, I can definitely put this on my top 10 list.

Good fish & chips. Large cod was a bit on the small side but large portion of chips was huge, we couldn't finish it between the two of us. Worth a try, visiting the area.

Great food big portions massive selection, Owner always happy to help and very friendly.. seen him once he didn't like what he had cooked so binned the chips and went again!! Couldn't recommend more highly.

I had never used this chip bar before even though it's just up the road from me when I went it it was manic in there very hot and the phone for deliveries was Mon stop at first I thought what have I done coming here but after a short wait I wasn't disappointed the fish and chips were heavenly and I am definitely going back excellent food and the staff very apologetic for the long wait...I'm glad it's on my doorstep yummm

Fabulous chips, lovely clean place & friendly staff. Even though they were closing they still served us & the chips were the best I've had for a long time. Shame I live 200 miles away!

Food is amazing and I like that they do like limited time meal offers, I drive from Swansea once a week to go there to get a take out meal with the Mrs and the kids as the food is always of a high standard, keep up the good work
