Best Indian around hands down! If you haven't tried the Garlic Tikka you're missing out!

An hour and half late and still cannot get in touch with restaurant. No contact at all about order and paid online.

Just had my meal and absolutely 💯% stunning for me best Indian 👌

After many people recommending this takeaway I decided to try it for myself. The two gentlemen cooking and taking my order were polite and friendly. The food was cooked before my very eyes within around 10 minutes. It was totally delicious, good sized portions and nice and hot. I will definitely be going back for more. Totally yummy!

Not terrible food if you don't mind waiting close to 2 hours for food and have some wrong orders.First time trying this place out, unfortunately wont be using again. Upon ordering were told it could be up to an hour wait, ended up being nearly 2.When food did arrive it was not bad in the taste department. However we did receive a chicken based dish instead of the lamb one that we ordered which was such a shame, especially when the order was repeated to us when we ordered an appeared correct.Overall:Food taste - Not the worst tasting but certainly had better.Delivery time: Very slow and underestimatedOther notes: Shame the dish that was ordered was not the one given, especially when repeated on the phone.

Cant argue that the food is good, 3 times now over 2 hours for a delivery. such a shame really, how about u guys phone your customers if the food is going to be over an hour late? and maybe when ur customers call in to check on the status u be honest. 15mins it be with u and still waiting an hour later is pretty poor service.

Always a joy to eat the authentic cooking of The Eastern Star. My visitors have never been disappointed and are often surprised that there is such a jewel to be had in this little neighbourhood.

Just had a lamb madras, chicken korma and a keema nann. Ready 5 minutes early and tasted very good. Will be going back.

In all fairness, any restaurant where they openly cook your food in front of you and greet you with a smile is worthy of notice. That aside, food is great and good value. Good vegetarian options. Recommend.

We ordered from the 'English dishes' part of the menu, fried chicken and chips, and they brought us some concoction of diced chicken, peas, and onions in a mystery sauce of some kind, as I said previously this was listed as fried chicken so when we received it we though it was obviously the wrong order. We called the restaurant to tell them that the order was wrong when he rudely disagreed and said that is was correct and refused to give a refund to the point where we had to go down to the shop and complain in person. We ended up only getting a partial refund overall very bad experience.
