Rock and Fountain Pub and Restaurant in Neath Port Talbot

Always fantastic food, great portions, good prices. Large carpark. Double Dragon on pump. Plenty of other choices. Good atmosphere, great character pub.

Had Lunch here with mother, lovely food and service . Was a bit tricky crossing a busy fast road to get to and from Carpark tho, but that can't be helped 😊

Have had many a nice meal here in the past. However the last 2 visits have not been up to standard. The most recent within the last few days, we were greeted by quite miserable staff that were quite obviously having digs at each other (bearing in mind that the restraunt was pretty full), the floor was sticky and when finally seated the menus and beer matts were more or less chucked on the table. Also the table next to us was emptied and not cleaned between customers. Enough was enough and we got up and left and called to a different restaurant just 5 minutes up the road ( The White Horse Inn) where the whole experience was completely different. Maybe the staff would benefit from going to said restaurant to see how its really done.

Might have visited on a bad day but not overly impressed. Overheard "raised voices" between staff. Soup came out cold. A but chaotic judging by other customers queries as well as ours.A little goldmine. Beer garden, beautiful surroundings, also free parking in a large car park. We might have caught thrm on a bad day but won't be rushing back to spend our hard earned cash

The food was very good that we had on Sunday, but it wasn't the normal Sunday dinner as what we all ways have, it was a normal menu with different types of dishes. You could have still enjoyed the food mind. THINK you should find out before you book a table if it is a traditional Sunday lunch, or if they have a different menu on for the day.

Very cosy and inviting pub .Staff very welcoming .Make you feel welcome .Food very good price and really nice .With home made hand cut chips.Highly recommended.Spacious carpark across the road .With a well equipped park for young children .Seating for parents and picnic tables .So if out and about go on old canal road to Aberdulais and pop in .For a bite to eat.Or even a cuppa staff very friendly.

Cracking pub serving lovely home cooked food. Service was 10/10 already booked again and will highly recommend.

Mon 28th Feb. Had a delicious hot meal here in the afternoon. Staff are great.

Absolutely love it here. Never had a bad meal, amazing food and reasonably priced. Friendly and welcoming staff, such a beautiful place. Will always be our first choice for a meal out.
