Shillingfords fish and chip shop in Neath Port Talbot

1st time visiting. Read great reviews on Facebook. The order took 24 minutes despite noone else in queue. Then when we got to the car and checked the bag to find the double cheese and bacon burger was missing. My husband went back and when he came back 5 minutes later he was given a battered chicken burger not the double cheese and bacon burger. So back to the shop he went where he waited again. The whole time the rest of our food was getting cold! When we finally got the complete order and got the food home it was luke warm, the chips were either overcooked or half cooked. Will not be returning. Very very disappointed 😞 a water of over £30!!

Just moved into the area. I'm so pleased we have an amazing fish and chip shop. Food is excellent and the staff are really friendly. Always busy, very efficient xxx

Chips very dry and tasteless. Fish not bad. Long wait for food even though not busy.

Over priced I orded curry sauce over chip and sauce was served in tiny pot if staff didn't have an attitude I would have complained wont go there again

What to have for food tonight, tell you what why don’t we have fish n chips, we’ll as usual Shillingfords didn’t disappoint. Generous portion of fish plenty of chips and a cheeky curry sauce. Even though this is in walking distance was feeling lazy and tried their delivery service which was excellent, delivery on time-a very polite driver plus the food piping hot once plated up. Top marks Team shilly from one very full belly. Only wish I had taken a picture
