Taj Mahal Spice Indian Takeaway in Neath Port Talbot

Ordered using their website.. had text message stating that I had received a refund. Thought that they had possibly overcharged me so waited over the stated 45 minutes for the food. Phoned them and was told that they wouldn’t be delivering as they had only one driver. I asked why the text didn’t explain and was told it was automatically generated. I have an account with them so they have my phone number and it would have taken one minute to let me know.Good food - lousy service. Will not be back.

Food arrived hours after ordering and is cold. My advice is not to take on orders you clearly cant deliver on busy nights. Know when your to busy so you only deliver excellent service rather than going for the most money and delivering poor quality hours later.. you have just lost 3 customers through this! There is huge competition out there..how silly

Taj Mahal Spice has been my place to go for a long time. However placed an order lsat night and was quite disappointed. The delivery was only 20 minutes late but when it did arrive it was luke warm, I had to reheat it in the microwave. Although the food was tasty I was somewhat disappointed as I ordered a vindaloo that was not spicy at all in fact the vegetable curry was spicier. There were no signs of any chillies and no potato at all. This has put me off slightly and am concidering ordering elsewhere in future.

We ordered food from them via just eat and were told it would take 35-50 minutes. After ordering the time jumped to an hour and a half. After two hours the food had still not arrived and the phone simply rung out (though the website said they were still open). Incredibly unhappy with the lack of service.

I am disgusted with my order! Received my food and had a rediculously salty korma and ended up having to complain. After being told I would have a replacement delivered to me within half an hour, for it to be another half hour late! I requested to have a replacement garlic rice too as it was ruined by the curry. They replaced it with boiled plain rice and a watery disgusting korma that has little to no taste. Fuming isn’t the world as it was a treat I was well looking forward to. Safe to say I will never be ordering from Taj Mahal spice ever again.

1 star on customer service, I phoned for a delivery, 45 minutes later I'm still waiting so rung the restaurant to see if everything was OKThe man who answered the phone the 2 time's I phoned was not very polite and put the phone down on me before I'd finished speaking. .Will review food if it arrives

Ordered a large order to be delivered. Provided all details. After 1 and a half hours order didnt arrive. Rang restaurant and the waiter was extremely rude saying that the driver got address wrong. Food was cold and would never use again. Shame it could have been a good experience I am sure if they handled it better.Customer service 0/10

What a vile, rude man taking your order! They got the wrong house number, 1.5 hours later no food. My husband rang to see where the food was to be abused and told their new colleague had got the house number wrong and and he slammed the phone down! Calling back he was then told "Your food may be a bit cold". We advised we would not be paying nearly 40 pounds for cold food and this vile man then blamed my husband for getting the address house number wrong! Not recommended and never using again!

After waiting over an hour and a half on a Tuesday evening for this meal, it arrived cold. The nan bread was cold and soggy and the rest was inedible unless microwaved.I immediately contacted the restaurant and was faced with the pointless task of explaining that it was cold.The response from the restaurant was, "what do you want me to do about it, I'm in work".I asked if this was normal practice to warm your own food up as it gets to the house, to which the reply was the same. "what do you want me to do about it". Following that the man put the phone down on me.Food cold and bland , customer service shocking, waiting time not acceptable. We will not recommend.

We have been visiting the area regularly since 2009 for mountain biking. Every trip we make sure to have a meal from here. The quality, quantity and price is fantastic. For a group of up to 13 people we have never paid more than £100, and have never had a disappointing meal.Highly recommended.
