5 of us went to the Colliers today for Sunday lunch, had the carvery upstairs & as usual it was excellent. Had the Pork which just melted in your mouth as did the Beef and Turkey, good selection of well cooked vegetables & 3 different choices of potato, only slight niggle was that the roast potatoes weren't up to their usual standard. Other than that it was a perfect meal and as always really friendly & attentive staff, been there many times now both during the week and on a Sunday and never had a bad meal.

Warm welcome, lovely food, on finishing our main course, we were not asked if we wanted dessert, which is always the case in other restaurants, this allowed plenty of time for our food to settle by the time we decided to have dessert, it was wonderful 😀 definitely recommend

Visited the Colliers again today, the food and service were excellent as usual.Had the beer batter cod with chips & the wife had the Scampi with chips, both come with peas and a small side salad. The piece of cod was huge and cooked to perfection, lovely crisp batter and tender juicy fish inside with absolutely no grease. The wife loved her scampi and cheesecake with ice-cream dessert, as usual the staff were brilliant.Definitely somewhere we will keep going back to.

Good food and drinks selection and a friendly and interesting place.Popular for meals, which is not surprising, as they have very large portions of fresh food at great prices.

The lady in there was lovely and luckily managed to squeeze us in for food. She didn't have to and we are pleased she did because it was really nice. There was a nice atmosphere too. A great 'Old School' pub.

Ordered a veg burger and chips and it was served on a dirty chopping board! Looked like it hadn't dried properly and was going blue on the edges, with knife marks from previous uses which were probably full of germs! I felt sick!! Didn't complain as I was with people who were celebrating an occasion and I didn't want to make a fuss, so I asked for a plate and left the bottom of the burger that touched the board. Food was nice but the service and cleanliness needs work. I wiped the table over with a detol wipe (covid safety) and it had black on it. Then we were over charged, the veg burger should have been £9.50 and it said £13.95 on the bill and there was also an extra £4 for a cider we didn't order! Told them and they adjusted it, lucky we checked, how many people don't?!
