Great value for money! Lovely facilities and comfy beds. Great breakfast options - we were given the option of a hot breakfast but opted for cereal, and were given juice and other continental pieces as well. We also had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and the food was good. They do some very good value lunchtime deals from 12-5pm. The staff were all friendly and helpful as anything. The place is huge with a lovely big beer garden. Would absolutely come back and stay again!

Wonderfully friendly staff, lovely little place, and lovely food. Strongly recommend.Plus. They made my dogs day by bringing him turkey so everybody is a winner 😁😁

Had the pleasure of staying at this accommodation last night with my husband and our son, the pub is very nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, we had an evening meal here and the portion sizes were huge and very good value, had a lovely comfortable sleep and breakfast this morning was a delight, cereal, a round of toast and a HUGE full English all included in our price.Couldn't get the TV to run, did mention it to the staff around 9pm but they were really busy, nobody did attention but I didn't want to pressure them to call as they were run off their feet serving staff. Rooms were lovely and clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and great shower. Would definitely come again.

Thus place is so good, they are dog friendly 👍 the food was amazing! The proper home made chips took me back to my childhood and the chips mum used to make! My partner had a burger and said it was great, I had the beef and ale pie, it was soooo good. My little dog loved the big beer garden. We will definitely be going back.

Fantastic place to stay with spacious rooms and fantastic clean bathroom. Dog friendly pub and stay with huge garden at the back. The landlady and stuff is so friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend!!! 💜💜

I don’t ever write reviews because the truth is, I just can’t be bothered. However, I felt compelled to describe my experience of this wonderful pub.The food here is pretty special. I had a steak and ale pie which is as good as any I’ve had in much trendier and more costly restaurants. And for what you pay, it’s remarkable. The ladies who served us were lovely and helpful. They didn’t worry about us ordering meals in the bar instead of the restaurant. They just made our quick stop here something to remember. Surely the locals are keeping this gem of a pub quiet. Sorry to let the cat out of the bag. We shall return!

Nice clean place, shame about the food. Had a mixed grill, it just been thrown on my plate like a dogs bowl and the meat was absolutely terrible. Worst meat ever, asked for medium, it was all cooked well done. It was tougher than a toe rope. Shame because nice location and tidy inside just shame about the food.

On arrival room was clean, refreshments provided, we stayed 4 nights room was not serviced at all and on the 3rd morning I had to ask if they could provide more coffee milk and toilet rolls, landlady said yes it's being done now, got back after day out tofind a bag on door handle with tea and coffee but room hadn't been touched and no toilet roll! Tv no longer working as we were leaving the following morning I didn't even bother asking, won't be staying again

The food was delicious. The peas were so tasty, the chips are proper homemade and my son said the chicken was the nicest he had ever tasted.
