Lovely friendly efficient staff.Use this place often beautiful battered fish.

Just purchased a bag of chips and a curry sauce from our local newly opened chippy. Oh dear me chips appeared to be recooked and the curry sauce was cold and ultra thick. The lot went in the bin. Not a good start for a newly opened business.

In it's current state of ownership, the Trading Post offers pretty decent food for a pretty decent price. The staff are friendly and are happy to serve you as a customer. The only flaws I have encountered when visiting the Trading Post is extremely long waiting times for food if you don't happen to be the only customer inside. Whereas if you do happen to be the only customer at the time the wait can be a lot shorter, as I've had food given to me within a few minutes but sometimes over at least 15.

Portion sizes were good and the battered sausage was nice no rissoles available. Chips were a bit overcooked and greasy but ok. The women working there was mopping the floors in the customer area and instead of stopping until I left she asked me to move from the sofa i was told to wait on. I find this quite rude. Did feel a little bit like they were closing down which as a customer i should not see.

The new owners are fab, they've done little things like decorating and changing the furniture. The food is the same fantastic standard. You often have to wait for the food to be cooked but it's worth it! Please try this place, you won't be disappointed!! 👍👍

My 11 year old son went there with his aunty today, and a member of staff was so rude and stroppy whilst taking their order, that they confronted her and were met with more attitude. They then decided to leave without having any food. The member of staff was so rude, my son felt intimidated and under pressure to order quickly, it upset him and he no longer felt hungry. Disgusting attitude towards customers. I am going to phone tomorrow, and lodge an official complaint with the owner.

Had the best ever fish and chips at the trading post in Ammanford last week! I live 20 miles away and make sure I make a weekly visit to The Trading Post. The portion sizes of the chips are huge, and the size of the fish is massive! all at a really cheap price.I also LOVE the trendy decor!Well done owner! I will continue to visit every week.

Very slow/poor service. When told they had no veggie option left after having waited ages in the belief something was being cooked to then be snapped at and told everything was cooked in the same oil, veggie or not.Plenty more places offering a good selection and good service!
