Food was good and plentiful, staff were nice and the setting was comfy. Traditional pub restaurant setting and the price was good especially since everything has gone up. Would recommend only slight issue is that the pub is on a busy road and have to park away and walk and there is a narrow walkway just before entrance and road quite busy.

6 of us came here for a meal for my sons 18th birthday, good choice meals, was delicious, freshly made, served hot and reasonably priced. My son had a steak which was cooked to perfection. Didn't have to wait long for meals. Delicious deserts, lovely and attentive staff. Definitely recommend and will be going back again

First time at the travellers well, service was really good considering they were busy. Food was excellent I had peppercorn chicken chips & my husband had the mint lamb. Would go back and I would recommend to friends &family.

Went to the Travellers Well for a get together with our ukulele band. We were given the side room as we are all silver topped. We had a variety of different foods, they were all delicious and quite quick to serve nine of us at the same time. We have now booked for Christmas to have the same room and food

If you love having dogs running around your feet and jumping up on your chair whilst you eat, then this is the place to go! I was sat having Sunday lunch with my family, when a couple sat on the table next to us. To my surprise, the couple had two dogs with them that were both allowed to jump up on the chair and roam around my feet and also try to jump up onto my wife’s chair whilst She was eating her Sunday dinner. The couple were also allowed to hold the dogs on their lap at the table. I’ve never been to a restaurant whereby dogs are roaming free, barking and crying whilst I eat my Sunday lunch. If I was made aware of this prior to booking, I most certainly would not have entertained dining here. As I was leaving, I then noticed another table that had a dog sat on the persons lap whilst she ate her food. The dog had long fluffy fur and appeared to be quite buoyant.I can’t begin to explain how unhygienic this was. who would want or expect to have dog hair flying around whilst you are eating your food?? Absolutely no one I would expect!! I certainly won’t be back again!

Table booked for 8 of us Aqua girls. Friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble and excellent service. All our food arrived together, pipping hot and very good portions. The choice of dessert were also very good however, my favourite is the mango & passion fruit cheesecake.....LUSH..I would highly recommend a visit. We have booked our Christmas meal already and we will certainly be visiting The Travellers Well SOON.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, good service, good food with decent ingredients and cooked fresh, not overpriced and the loos were spotless. Best pub lunch for ages. It was fully booked, mainly locals. Which says a lot.
