Thankyou to everyone for a lovely relaxed Christmas meal ☺☺staff were polite food was good nothing to much trouble . One of our party was unable to make it they went out of their way to provide us with a takeaway dinner ☺Thank you all again 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Outstanding carvery! Loved it

Came for a Christmas lunch with a group and was very disappointed. Starters were poor - tomato soup looked (and tasted) like tinned tomatoes that had been put through a blender. Vegetable soup was tasteless and pate was served without toast.Slightly rescued by the carvery which was very good but then let down once again by dessert.Chocolate gateux could have been improved by a quick trip to Tesco to buy another one and no cream provided, the trifle was jelly thrown in a bowl topped with custard and cream topping.Service let down by having only 1 member of staff available which meant if you wanted a drink you had to hope that they weren't serving food at the same time.Can only assume that the high star reviews didn't have starters or dessert....

Food was excellent service was ok but staff were very friendly. Made welcome. Also could use taste card here so made it very affordable.
