Ariana's Fish Bar in Newport

Super friendly people, open till late - when other shops are closed

Ordered large cod, chips and mushy peas. The cod was £6 the spoon in the picture is a teaspoon to put size of fish into perspective! As you can see where the lemon is there is no fish! Called up to ask for money back, was told not to eat fish, then offered another piece and told that it was same size, and to return this piece I asked again for refund and then accepted another piece of fish but asked to keep this piece, was then accused of taking advantage. They called again this time saying I would get a replacement fish and to keep original. I have used before no problem but my advice is to avoid if your hungry!! Smallest ever large cod I've ever seen!

Arrived on the camp site we had booked on the Isle of Wight late Christmas eve and needed to eat. Called the first chippy who wouldn't deliver. Called these guys and they delivered straight to where we were staying. What brilliant customer service and the food was perfect.

They are a kebab shop that does fish and chips too, also pizza and best of all battered mars bar, but the Mars bar is very small.

Terrible service. Very rude. Soggy pizza. Warm coleslaw. Cold chips. When I complained they told me please Don't come back! I really can't believe it!

The portions of fish were small, the batter was soggy, the curry sauce was so thick it wouldn't pour out, even when the cup was turned upside down!Overpriced and underdelivered!

Lovely burgers, very juicy and with loads of sauce! Delicious. Chips a little oily but cooked nicely. Quick service, didn't have to wait long for our dinner!

Wow handfull of chips (ordered large) ,not sure if they had even been in the fryer, 2 large sausages in batter ( I think its batter) and a desecrated saveloy.......£8.60!!! #Bargain

We always order from Newport fish and chips as their food is always fantastic and delivery is very quick! Best take away in Newport and consistently 5* quality food! Will definitely be ordering many more times from them as we have been doing in the past (lost count of how many times we eat here!)
