Bouchard Restaurant Inn in Newport

Truly one of the best meals I've ever had. Marco especially made the night fantastic. Look forward to maybe seeing you guys again in the future!

Last night at Bouchard was delightful! Every element of our experience was perfection. The restaurant was perfectly warm. After a French martini, we had escargot, a green salad, special veal chop and special cod oscar. We both loved every bite. Our food was plated like artwork. A lesson in proper proportions! Our captain was very prompt, professional, quiet, very courteous and ...funny. We love this place and vow to come more often.

We stayed 2 nights in the Windward room. Area is quiet and parking was convenient. We walked to dinner at O'Brien's Pub. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Complimentary breakfast of pastry, yogurt & fruit was good. I would return when visiting Newport again.

Very popular French restaurant in Newport. I had to make a reservation about 2 weeks out because they were so booked. We took the 5:45 time and were seated in the back room. It was cozy and quiet and their new chairs were very comfortable. The staff was professional, nice and lovely. We were excited that they had a bottle of Don Q Rum so we each had a glass. I had a warm pear salad and my husband had the asparagus and lobster puff pastry to start. The specials sounded so delicious so I had the cod and my husband had the veal chop. They were both excellent. The fish was PERFECT and the potatoes were delicious!!!! I savored every bite! The Grand Marnier Soufle, that you have to order when you order your meal, was beautiful and scrumptious, such a great treat, as it is seldom I see a soufle on the menu. Our total bill was about $200 which was less than we expected for such an amazing meal and high end drinks. We will go again if we can get a reservation!

Location and staff for the Inn wonderful. The room was very nice with a view and fine amenities. The breakfast was perfect. We were disappointed with the restaurant. It was hard to get reservations. They were supposed to do something for our 50th anniversary but did not. The waiter was obnoxious and the food was not outstanding.

Service was perfect and food was exquisite. Try the Grand Marnier souffle - best dessert I have ever had. We were not hurried; wait staff was attentive and efficient. We had the filet mignon and the sole -both cooked and presented to perfection. Cozy, quiet atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

I stayed at the Bouchard Inn while in town for a wedding in Newport and I honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The room was so extremely clean and comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect. I will absolutely tell my friends to stay here next time they are in town. 10 out of 10

Truly wonderful evening at Restaurant Bouchard! We have been dining with them since 2007, and each and every time has been an elegant, gracious experience. From the warm welcome we always receive from Brittany, George and Sarah, through Dan's engaging, informative, and on-point service, to the phenomenal, sophisticated dishes of Albert and Jessica a dinner at Bouchard is everything one hopes for. Not surprising that our evenings at Bouchard always end with our planning our next visit.

Stayed for 2 nights at The Bouchard Inn. It was a great stay with terrific staff. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The noise (as other reviews mentioned ) was not an issue for me. You are staying on Thames Street which is the main strip . You have to expect some noise from outside. It was nothing obnoxious or that kept me from sleeping. The pastry of the day and yogurt parfait dropped off at your door everyone morning was a nice delicious touch. We had dinner one of the nights at the restaurant. It was superb from start to finish. The French Martin was excellent along with the Asparagus and Lobster in Puff Pastry , the Re-stuffed Roasted Lobster and Scallops with Truffle, Gruyere Cheese and Lobster Sauce, and Apple tart for dessert. Will definitely stay again !
