Cafe at the Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre in Newport

The Riverfront is a nice place to visit in what is a run down town/city. The facilities are good and with thing like cinima releases sold some week later at reduced prices, it's good to take the family. Cafe is reasonable and good day you can almost overlook the filthy River banks of the Usk. Parking is rediculous as is the prices.

A good show called Lipstick On My Collar. Comfortable seating with excellent refreshments. Very enjoyable.

A venue for all the family not just a theatre but activities for users to join in you can sing in a choir (learners and experienced singer's) funded by the arts council, activities for children and much more.

Appalling customer service from the cafe. Couldn’t get a bottle of water before the performance restarted. Incredibly unimpressed. How can you expect to serve a theatre full of people from one till. Absolute joke!

Attended The Elvis Years Great Venue in the heart ❤ of Newport Need a disability ramp in the theatre its OK going thru side door with a disability walker, but walking down steps to your seat it's slightly awkward

Newport's River front on the river Usk is tidal hence all the lovely estuarine mud. The historic heart of the old port is now being developed at last =]

We went to the cinema here, its a little old school in the sense that it doesn't have all the modern bells and whistles but for the price you pay it's great.It's a little distracting when the usher comes in and out for the first few minutes of a movie if late comers arrive and all the seats creak if anyone at all fidgets but for £3 a movie I would 100% come back gladly. Heads up though, I didn't see Fresh popcorn just the packet butterkiss stuff for sale.

good location and fairly spacious inside, went to watch circus of horror, it was a good show and a nice personal venue

Great riverfront theatre in Newport. All the seats had great view of the stage, seats comfortable and well spaced. Nice open lobby and lobby bar. Unusual compliment: cleaning staff super nice and efficient. Limited parking , so nearby decks are open see.

Litter everywhere, bins overflowing, muddy riverbank at low tide revealed discarded bicycles , mattresses, rat trap containers everywhere, broken and cracked tiles & bricks on flooring. Much nicer on the other side of the river opposite the riverfront building as there are many Al fresco dining areas, seating available in clear see through pods or under canopies. An array of wines, cocktails, crafted beers & ciders all available alongside the river path . Penthouse luxury apartments overlook the water with panoramic views & balconies to watch the world go by or to watch the sun go down . This side is much cleaner & a more modern way of life & used by many to take a romantic stroll or cycle along the river path taking in the views .
