Cariad Cafe in Newport

They do a Welsh Breakfast with Bacon Sausage Cockles & Laverbread +toast. 👍😊

Me and my husband pass the cafe quite regularly as we have a holiday home in Llanridhian well today we actually managed to pay a visit and I can we were not disappointed my husband had the Welsh breakfast with added poached eggs and I had the large breakfast as soon as our food was served you could tell before taste that quality produce was served and I must say was absolutely delicious would highly recommend giving this little cafe a visit ….was our first but certainly won’t be the last xx

Just called into see if there was room, suprise there was. So I had a Breakfast Bagette the wife had a Sausage Bagette & to drink hot chocolate both were excellent. The hot chocolate was HOT unlike some places where it's tepid. Will call again sometime.

I was not myself when I wrote a disingenuous 1 star review on the Cariad Cafe. Since then I have matured my mindset by reading the Book Of Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. I have come to realise that Cariad is matched only by the Roma Fish Bar in terms of quality. Only maligant twitterturds would find this food unattractive. However, reformed and benign individuals such as myself realise the food is as pleasing as trolling a kid on xbox live to the point of rage quit, YES THE FOOD IS THAT ENJOYABLE.I would suggest black listing furries from such a renowned establisment as they are not worthy to indulge on such an ethereal cuisine.Would do a skype and dine with my discord kitten here again 5/5.

Friendly, warm,fabulous staff that can't do enough for you. Cake and coffee out of this world. 100,% super duper. 👍👍

Lovely little cafe. I had a bacon sarnie and a cappuccino and they were excellent. Good coffee, quality locally sourced bacon and nice bread. Lovely staff too. Recommended.

Went on a Saturday lunch time. Place was busy and we were lucky to get a table. Glad we did, gentleman who runs the place (Tom) welcomed us, showed us the table and served us. Very friendly and helped with questions about the menu.Food was brilliant, and nice range of small bites, brunch / breakfasts, and larger meals, including some specials.To top it off, cakes were amazing.Fantastic venue. It's lucky they offer take away too, as a few people had to wait for tables. I can see why it is popular!! Will definitely be back.
