Fanny's Rest Stop in Newport

Food's great, staff are great & they give very good value for money. Definitely my 'go-to' café for weekend breakfast when at work. Would absolutely recommend Fanny's to everyone.

Such a welcoming place and breakfast to die for. Staff and owner are so friendly and chatty I wish I'd found this little gem sooner. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked perfectly. No wonder everyone tells me Fanny's do the best breakfast in Newport.... Its true!!! 😋

Fantastic breakfast. I was told this was the best place in town to buy breakfast and it certainly lived up to its recommendations. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and owner. I wish I had found this place sooner!

Huge portions of freshly cooked food offering very good value for money. The lovely ladies that work here are rushed off their feet but still manage to stop for a chat to make you feel welcome. They deserve to do well and it's worth your time to seek out this little gem.Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere, retro fittings and plenty of choice for food. Staff were helpful and friendly even when busy. Transporter bridge was closed but the disappointment was more than made up for by visiting Fanny's Rest Stop Cafe. Will be back again.

Love this place, we started to come last year and have been back every Saturday since, we are foodies and Fanny's is a great cafe where you can get an honest breakfast from lovely people.Ladies work really hard, taking orders over the phone, takeaways and indoor service, often back to back with orders and working all day.Love the personal touch that Jo and David have, taking time to greet us personally and there's always a funny story being told, really makes our Saturday 😊Breakfasts menus are all up on the walls, I usually have a Rest Stop which is a good size breakfast, with sauages, bacon, egg, hashbrown, toast etc YUM.There's s plenty to choose from, and as we order the same thing everytime the team remember our order.Lou is a fab cook and the bacon is yum yum! Feels like being transported back in time, with a homecooked meal. I love the level of service and personal touch, and at the prices its great value.I'd give it a 10/10

Best cafe ever, very friendly, amazing menu and nothing is too much trouble for them also spotlessly clean.
