Greyhound Inn in Newport

Had a fab evening with a few work colleagues last Friday. The beer was good. The food top end for pub grub and very well priced. The bar staff were fabulous, friendly and welcoming. They continued to wear face masks even thought they do not have to. They told me it was to protect their customers. Thank you team Greyhound

Like all pubs, if it's your local then you'll love it..... Not on the beaten track so you're not likely to stumble on it but if you do it's OK but parking is awkward.

First time here,really good atmosphere,food fantastic and lot of it.Really enjoyed

My wife and I were taken for Sunday lunch. There were 3 choices - beef, chicken or lamb - all were really good. My only complaint was that there was just too MUCH food! This restaurant is clearly a favourite of the locals as it was full.

Went today for a birthday lunch with my friend really enjoyed it .. Excellent steak meal very reasonable price and staff was very friendly .. would definitely recommend

Really nice traditional pub food and good drink. Plenty of choice on both and a fine selection of desserts. Friendly staff and great prices. Sunday dinner is exceptional!

Had a lovely meal with a drink on Bonfire Night, then came back later in the night for more drinks. Prices are good and the food was delicious. Would definitely come again and recommend to others x

Great pub with excellent service and food.We stopped here in June 2021 on our way to Carmarthen having Googled pubs in the area and had pre-booked a table. The pub had only recently reopened following the relaxation of Covid restrictions however the welcome we received was wonderful, service was great and the food we ordered was fabulous.We will be stopping by again on on our next trip to Carmarthen.

Excellent Service from start to finish, wide range of drinks on offer & a broad menu to suit all needs, Lovely Decor & Stunning Food served, current Guidelines clearly visible & really friendly & relaxed atmosphere, Staff went that extra mile - only issue I saw was non-disabled people using the disabled parking spaces - will defiantly be going back when I return to Newport
