This pizza restaurant driver reversed into me, as I stood opposite the take away, trying to cross the road. Then he and owner of the vehicle pretend they dont understand English, shrug their shoulders (After all, I'm just a white woman) and deny liability to the police! I already suffer with limited mobility. Avoid this business. Dangerous drivers and unscrupulous 'businessmen' who think they're above the law. Can't review without leaving a star. Not worthy of this. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID!

Incredibly impressed with our delivery driver, food was not only 20-30 min earlier than said which was lovely, but also the driver followed our directions perfectly to to annexe round the back of our Air BnB we were staying at, meaning we got our food without disturbing the main house (and hosts) late in the evening. Nice Tuesday discount from Just Eat too and food was delicious and well priced. We were very impressed, thank you!

STAY AWAY!Restaurant service: Food ordered 70mins prior to the delivery ETA. After circa 10 mins a call stating that either I will have it straight away (within 15 mins) or they won't deliver at all. As a result, food was 45 mins EARLY.Food quality: "La pizzeria" is announced as as a "local legend". Either people have never tasted anything even resembling a pizza or most of the reviews are fake. In the last 5 years I have never had worse. In UK I have never ever had worse - and that includes frozen pizzas from the supermarkets.Dough was old, at least a day old or maybe two (imho).TASTE: cardboard meets worn out rubber tyre. Cheese - I have my doubt if it even was cheese, not some palm oil dyed cheese analog. Absolutely tasteless, half solid yellow mass. Amount of toppings - borderline between very little and little, but their quality - beef decent, pepperoni - noticed 5 slices (50p coin size) of that on a 14!! inch pizza, diced chicken ok, salami - could find even one slice... but ham - take paper towel, put it into water, dye it red, dice it.. that's about it. Herbs and spices - not a trace. This thing went to the bin after several bites from 5 different slices.Whoever created this thing posing as a food, should be whipped in local square in my opinion and then branded.Hungry for a pizza in Newport? - go ANYWHERE, but here, even local convenience store to buy a frozen pizza.

Food nice. But got order wrong. Don't take cash but there is cash machine ( free) two doors up.

Saturday evening... Website (either comany's or via just eat) does not specify, if you are ordering a DIY pizza, if it already has cheese.. I tried to get an answer by calling. Gentleman on the other side of the phone was either intoxicated or (self-censorship). I had a very unpleasant conversation. Question was rephrased 5 times. I still have no idea, if the base pizza (on which you add 4 toppings) does include cheese. But I now know all the effing toppings, drink promo and I was offered to collect it twice.. And yet this joint has a "local legend" @ JE? HOW?!

Some of the best pizza I've ever eaten , definitely order or go it pick it up as soon as possible, toppings are generous and the cheese melts so nicely as you pull apart of slice.

Tried this place tonight, was a bit dubious after reading some dodgy reviews but fancied a pizza.Couldn't fault the place. Place was clean. Food was ready in 10 minutes and it was very tasty.Don't get me wrong, it's not like a Bosco or Da Mara but when your pizza works out at £4.50 you can't go wrong 👍.

Very knowledgeable about the Ayia Sophia. Seemed disinterested that its use might be changed. I mean who cares. Agreed that religion is a drug to control the masses. Also agreed that royalty strangling large numbers of their immediate family results in a long term continuation of the royal line - what a paradox! Good pizza.

This is the best pizza takeaway I can remember in my years of living in many parts of Cardiff and now Newport. Their calzone is out of this world, pizza just brilliant and inexpensive, their chicken way better than KFC, I could go on. Highly recommended from a person a bit fussy about their food
