Really like that this cafe is located in a beautiful park.Went for breakfast and coffee which was very nice full of flavour and a decent sized portion was satisfactory full. Coffee was also very nice although a 3rd of the cup was froth and a tad powdery at the end.All in all breakfast top notch, coffee could be improved, price was decent 7.50£ for coffee and breakfast I think.Would have scored higher but outside seating was a tad chaotic, most tables still needed clearing and could be arranged better to take advantage of the surrounding views.Highly recommend this place for breakfast and location

Just had an afternoon tea, really good. Lovely drop of Darjeeling, best scone ever, nice sandwiches and cake. The outlook is lovely and they use beautiful linen and crockery. All in all a good experience. Recommended. It was at a fair price as well with friendly service.

This is a lovely cafe in Beechwood park. The vegan choice for food is appalling, jacket potato with beans is your lot but the cafe itself is cosy. If you have no allergies or just want a cup of tea or coffee, it is well worth a visit.

I booked this for Saturday for the mothers day afternoon tea, for my mother and mother in law. We arrived to be greated with bucks fizz. The selection of sandwiches, savouries and cakes was impressive, all stacked on a pretty 3 tier sandwich/ cake stand. Wonderful and unique little place. If you are not fortunate to live near beechwood park in order to pop in, it is worth a visit to the park, just to enjoy the pleasant, wonderful service and food at Mrs T's. Jayne is very helpful and a pleasure to speak to.

I don't know if the woman with the boys hair cut owns or runs the place. I asked for another cup so I could share my pot of tea with a friend who just joined the group. She rolled her eyes walked the painstaking 2 meters grabbing the cup and returned looking like she'd been miles to fetch it. She then handed it to me without saying a word. Okay, so she was doing something when I asked, but I would have gladly waited. Seems like she was in a mood that day, but its not the first time I've visited to find her in a foul mood and an atmosphere between her and the other staff. I now dog walk in belle vue, it's further away, but there is a lovely, well run and friendly cafe where the food really delivers.Food rating? Average at best.Prices: high - Reading the menu is more enjoyable than the actual offering.Made to feel welcome? No.

Awful experience £207 for 16 having afternoon tea. Not to mention it had been pre booked for a baby shower where we had been told we could come at 1pm to start to decorate and they would close at 2. When we arrived the manager Jayne had an awful attitude saying we would not be closing. As they still need to make money £207 seemed reasonable to me to close? Not to stay open: We had a queue of people around a heavily pregnant women on top of that other people not invited to the shower where picking things up even using our milk? The sandwiches made weren't correct to the list sent. Jayne had been very difficult saying certain tables wouldn't be touched "just in case" We asked for cake for the children to which they brought one to share and no drink. I wouldn't recommend to anyone! I do love dogs but the reason we didn't hold it at our own houses is because we all have dogs and the mum to be doesn't, there where dogs running in and out dog hair found on the tables in the sugar cubes? Completely let down the best part of the experience was sitting in beechwood park to open the presents as there was absolutely no room due to the way they had set everything up (when previously I had been told they wouldn't recommend putting the tables in a line as it's awkward?) Horrible!!!! They completely understood we where unhappy but had 30 minutes before guessed arrived to the surprise shower, taken for an absolute ride!

An absolutely wonderful lunch experience in unique surroundings summarises this cafe. The extensive menu meets everyone's desires for a fresh, wholesome meal which will arrive on your table in 10 minutes along with steaming tea or any other beverage you desire. My opinion is based on two visits during busy lunchtimes and I have no hesitation in recommending this eatery without reservation.

Lovely little place but little being the word. Nightmare to bring children in, no space for prams/pushchair and tables are rammed in making it almost impossible to move around. Servers were friendly and the latte was nice. Food is incredibly overpriced for what it is. Would have been cheaper for the 5 of us to go to a restaurant somewhere. Captive audience here though eh? Due to this we won't be back unless I win the lotto.

Lovely cooked breakfast, great coffee! Turned up without a booking at midday on a Sunday, and were still accommodated despite being in the middle of preparations for their Sunday lunches (which also looked lovely!). Will be back!

Great traditional tea-shop with tea pots and tea cups and a fabulous selection of cakes. Good choice of menu with vegetarian options. Beautifully located in Beechwood Park with lovely views. They do not have there own wi-fi but you can pick up good public wifi from next door.
