Stunning transformation of what was a very tired venue previously. A place for everyone of all age to have a lovely time.

Walking into this Pub was like visiting an old friend. A warm welcome from behind the bar and a cold Coors hitting the tonsils was an excellent start , the lager washing away the rigours of the working day.A family reunion had been planned and organised , the Staff did not disappoint. We were presented with an excellent menu with an eclectic mix of choice to satisfy all palates.I decided on a Surf and Turf mix , with a starter of Goujons , as you bit into the warm , thin batter you met the succulent , juicy fish that tasted as if it had just been caught in the River Usk , with a generous pot of Tartare Sauce so much better and different to the tiny packets other places provide that you have to struggle to open that would have challenged Einstein to be then rewarded with a smidgen of sauce that wouldn’t cover the base of a thimble.The Steak cooked “ bien cuit “ arrived on a large circular plate and was tender and tasty , wolfed down with relish.Following the 2 year hiatus caused by the Pandemic and the stop start opening of pubs and restaurants it’s good to return to a pub with character that ticks all the boxes for a night out topped off with excellent company. Recommended.

Recently hired the Gin room for a private function - bottomless buffet lunch and it was absolutely fantastic! The service was brilliant. Pete and the team ensured our glasses were always full. The buffet was delicious. Lovely atmosphere, would highly recommend - thanks for making the day special!

We held mum’s wake at YOBI and i would highly recommend it. Initial conversations held with Pete and Phil, Chef gave me every confidence that they would make the celebration run efficiently but also being personal to our family, I am pleased to say that they did not fail to deliver on their promises!!Phil had great ideas for food options inc. vegetarian and vegan, of which we’ve received compliments. Pete enabled us to put photos on the TV screens and music of our choice on the speakers. Food was replenished gradually to prevent it all going cold and additional vegan meals were accommodated on the day.Thank you to Pete and his team for allowing us to make a memorable send off to a wonderful mum!!

I went to YOBI yesterday to celebrate a friends big birthday. We had the separate room in the back of the pub which was great for what we wanted. YOBI hosted a ‘brunch’ type event for us with bottomless Prosecco and a buffet. The food was lovely and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a space for an event. Can’t wait to go back!

Hired the gin room for a friends 60th birthday, absolutely fantastic experience. Bottomless Prosecco and we didn’t have one dry glass all day. Buffet was excellent fabulous food. Huge thank you to Pete and the team 👏🏽

Visited YOBI on Saturday for my friends 60th - we hired the private room in the back of the pub, they organised a bottomless Prosecco and a buffet for us service and and the food were amazing! We had the best day thanks to Pete and team can’t wait for the next one! Also visited for Sunday lunch which was also amazing!

Great hospitality, well looked after by everyone especially the manager Pete, the gin bar is a great room to hire for a private function will definitely be back.

Nice little quirky pub in Caerleon. Little nooks and crannies which add to the experience.Had the buttermilk chicken burger which was great. Would like to return and try more.Had a clean tasting Madri, didn't notice the ales much as I was happy but will look next time. Did have a sharps though come to think of it.Will probably go for a walk during the day next time as the town also looked nice
