Pasta Beach in Newport

Excellent food, great staff and you can watch the chef's prepare your food. I tried the Pacchero Puttanesca topped off with tiramisu and tastey espresso. Already planning my next trip back. Try it...you won't be disappointed!

My uncle brought my family and me here while we were visiting Newport, and the food and staff were amazing! I had the asparagus pasta dish which was delicious, and we all shared a pepperoni pizza and it was so good! Our waitress was really nice and helpful, and was great dealing with our large table. Would definitely go back!

Such a surprise for a downtown restaurant. We've eaten at several downtown Newport restaurants and just been underwhelmed repeatedly. Their clam pasta was so perfectly cooked with lots of clams, garlic, and just packed with flavor. Went with a group of ladies and everyone was really happy with their choices. I actually would return here for this pasta again!

Had the pasta fagioli soup and pepperoni pizza. Food was very good. Server was very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is clean and upscale.

Delicious! Had a great evening at Pasta Beach. Sat at the bar in the back & Meghan the bartender was an absolute pleasure! Friendly & attentive (considering that she basically made all the drinks for the entire restaurant but she still had time for us ) The prosciutto e melon app was so good - best we’ve ever had - the prosciutto was lean and tasty and the melon (with a bit of feta sprinkled on) was perfect. Pizza was ok (too soft & doughy for me) but the special meatballs & bucatini was excellent. The blackberry martini was a great way to start the evening. Highly recommend!

The rigatoni with sausage and cream sauce was absolutely delicious! Service was outstanding, very friendly staff. Drinks were made perfectly. Atmosphere was unique and not what you expect from an Italian spot; I enjoyed it. The display cooks at the pizza line was nice. I’d give this place a 5-star, except the caprese was not at all a caprese; it was more like a salad with slices of mozzarella on top (though the mozzarella was very good). There’s a ton of really nice places in the area, I’m glad I stopped here.

I love this place! My family is from southern Italy and I can confidently say no restaurant can match the taste and quality of a home cooked meal- UNTIL PASTA BEACH. Amy was our server and she was fantastic! She remembered our order without writing it down (highly professional and impressive), was polite, knowledgeable, and very friendly! She made the experience! They are very lucky to have her on staff! The food is authentic and delicious! I’m very picky when it comes to red sauces but this is the best I’ve had other than my family’s own recipes from Italy. The pasta fagioli was FRESH, very well seasoned, and delicious. I’ve never been truly impressed by an Italian restaurant until Pasta Beach! This is the closest it comes to Italy 🇮🇹 Highly Recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Great place with a menu almost entirely in Italian. Bellissimo! Tried the fagioli, the foccacia pizze rosmarino for appetizers. Also had some cut bread. Pasta dishes were piping hot and deliciously flavorful. The decor left everything bright... No shameful hiding behind dim lighting here. Highly recommended!

We had good and friendly service for how busy it was. Pizza was dry so when you order just ask them to add extra sauce. I had the pasta dish which was good. My wife had the calamari which was amazing and fresh. She also had bolongnese pasta dish which rated it 4 out of 5.

Delicious and steaming hot pasta even for takeout. Margarita pizza could use some more sauce and cheese. The salad was good but nothing special and should be a bit cheaper.
