Pride of Balti in Newport

Fantastic Indian within risca, best around, I’ve been ordering for years and never had an issue, customer service has always been brilliant, food always arrives within allocated time frame, fresh and piping hot, prices are more than reasonable, love being able to use the online system/app as well, makes things a lot easier, highly recommend!

Ordered food via just eat, told delivery would be here at 17.50. Food did eventually turn up at 18.15, the lady did apologise for being late, as she left she slammed my front gate which bounced back open... As expected food was cold, chips were hard and undercooked,there was also a carton opened in the bag and all was covered in a sauce of some sorts. Over £26 on food that you have to re heat and put in the bin.... not a good service at all... won't be wasting my money there again.

Used to order from here a lot but wont be using it again after my latest experience. Ordered at 5 for delivery at half 7. Food arrived at quarter to nine with a broken tray of rice covering the rest of the dishes and luke warm at best! Phoned to ask where order was at 8 to be told it was cooked and waiting to be delivered yet arrived 45 minutes later so obviously had just been sat on shelf for all that time. Disappointed loyal customer will be giving my money to another business from now on!

Arrived cold hardly any chicken in the curry it was like they rationed thier food lol paid £35 it didn't even go round 3 children and 2 adults I just ended up eating the nan bread to dip with the curry sauce shocking.

All ways order from pride of balti friendly staff reasonably quick to get your order, vindaloo is fire love it. Always enjoyed every meal I've had from this takeaway my go to for a nice indian.

All food was ok apart from the amount of king prawn in the curry witch as a chef by trade i was not happy with i did not want a replacement just a full refund on one meal which i was told no will not order again and as a regular customer was very disappointed with this level of service . That's £30 less they will be getting on the weekend cheers guys top service .not

New owners doing a wide choice on new Curry's. Chef recommendations are fantastic.

Brilliant food yet awkward to buy. On just eat the minimum order has gone up to £20 which is too much for me and my partner so we go elsewhere. Cannot find their app on the play store, and their website doesn't take card payment so if you don't have cash you have to go without. It's a shame as it's generally very nice food.

Just had my first take away from Pride of Balti I can safely say that it was one of the best meat madras I have had for a long time nice chunks of tender meat and a very tasty sauceMy partner had a chicken tika masalla and was just as impressed
