Ristorante Vittorio in Newport

Lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere, clean, looks small at first but then lots of space hidden around the back. Food was extremely good and service was very friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to go back!

One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. The food amazing and the service was faultless. We eat here last night for the first time and we had a great night we will definitely be coming back.

We visited Vittorio's for a large family celebration and it was fabulous! Waiting staff were really experienced, attentive and friendly. A lovely menu selection and the food was delicious. Great value kids menu and little puzzles for them to complete at the table. The portions were a really decent size, so very satisfying! Even the kids pizzas were big and their leftovers were kindly boxed up for us to take home. Lovely atmosphere, plenty of space, great food and a really enjoyable evening. 5 Stars!

The food was nice but they sat us next to the alarm that kept going off. Then I had the waiters butt in my face everytime he had to reset the alarm, when he could be bothered to try and turn it off. Not so much as a sorry. Shame as again I enjoyed the food. Oh and I still left a good tip. Better customer service needed.

Had an excellent meal at Vittorio's last night. Everything was delicious. The prices are also very reasonable. Looking forward to visiting again. The tables are nicely spaced out so you aren't on top of one another which is nice too.

Myself and my family ordered our meals, my daughter and I ordered the chicken meal, when it arrived I tried to cut the breast of chicken and could not cut it, my daughter was also not able to her chicken breast too. I brought this problem to the attention of the waitress, who suggested I should try a steak knife. I said that I would like a different meal, which was promptly delivered to our table (belly pork) which was very good, but this will be my last visit to this restaurant for a very long time. Retired Master Butcher.

Nice food and venue however service makes a real difference at a restaurant and feel it was lacking. One of the special things about going to an Italian is having the parmesan and black pepper offered to you and put on by the waiter, however we had none of this, even when we asked we were just given a little pot and ground pepper. When we asked for the bill we had to go wait by the till. Just seemed a bit lacking unfortunately, not the typical Italian experience we love.

We hadn't been here for years before this evening and it did not disappoint. There is a lovely family feel about the place. Beautiful food, attentive service and a warm, cosy atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting!

What a great find in Newport. Down here for work and been here 2 nights in a row. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Highly recommended if you like Italian food. One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to outside of Italy.

A lovely family-run restaurant which serves great pizza and pasta, as well as gluten-free pasta options. The restaurant is very busy with a great atmosphere and the staff clearly take pride in what they do.
