Visited Tuesday 8pm. The quietest spoons ever. Lots of spare tables. Pizza excellent. Staff/service excellent as you would expect.

It's a spoons, food is not spectacular but it's good value for money. Something for everyone and the staff are great, really friendly

Staff were friendly and accommodating. At the time of my visit the pub had a 5* food hygiene rating and had some great managers specials on food. It was busy enough to make you feel comfortable but not that overwhelmed the staff didn't attend to you quickly. The locals were friendly and engaging which made the visit all the more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in Newport.

Went out for a food after a long time. Ordered medium gourment sirlion steak, was given COLD, hard to chew, definitely NOT medium cooked steak. Served on cold plate... Never had a problem with food in this place but after this, not coming back...

Food was absolutely delicious, with everything cooked perfectly. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and polite and happy to help. I love the dividers and how it almost turns each table into a booth, that definitely helped ease my anxiety. Also I saw lots of cleaning going on at all times. Was an excellent birthday meal out!

Really good place to have a meal or drink. However, one time I used the app it took my payment twice and I was refused a refund due to the food already being cooked. So although it is a really nice place, be aware the app may include a few issues.

Just another salt of the earth Wetherspoons to be honest. Friendly staff every time I’ve been there. There was a little too much cheese on the pizza..... but I’ll let them off just this once 😉. The atmosphere is very calm if you want a quiet drink on your own and equally if you decide to go with a group (times permitting)

Good place to eat. Food is good, prices are cheap.Big range of beers and spirits including craft varieties.Food for all diets and tastes.Staff were friendly.
