The Lamb in Newport

On the off chance bumped into the place. Karioky on.. the place just started to fill. Fab night!

For a Monday night the atmosphere was perfect. Was not looking for a night out but the music and the other patrons really made our night. Very welcoming and would definitely return for a drink if in the area!

Flat coke in my vodka and if it was out of a can where was the rest of it, because there was about half a can in my glass and that included the vodka. The bar staff were not at all pleasant.

What a brilliant pub!!!!- I've just spent 3 days in Newport on a removal job so have stayed in the Travelodge about 30 second walk from this amazing pub- the first day I went in I was made to feel so welcome I didn't want to leave-- I did actually (on arrival) fancy 'checking out' Newport whilst here but found myself so comfortable in the lamb that I only left for food as sadly due to current restrictions lamb can't serve food🙄🙄- the reason I couldn't leave is because of Kirsty and her brilliant staff that definitely know how to make a stranger feel very welcome!!-- well done girls I'll definitely be driving down to Newport in my car to visit the lamb agai- might even have to check into Travelodge again just for the lamb🙄🙄- but gladly- lamb is the place to visit....👍👍😃😃

Wonderful establishment. I visited on a cold, rainy and miserable day whilst I waited for my passport to be renewed and it cheered me up. Great food at about a fiver, with a drink included. Much better than Spoons and you can actually get a seat.

I only popped in for one while waiting for a train but a friendly welcome, clean pub and decent beers.

Awesome atmosphere always, friendly staff and has a jukebox with huge song selection.

Decent local with a good rugby atmosphere. Drinks are decent and cheap, definitely one of the better pubs in Newport.

Lovely little pub. Friendly staff, nice beer well kept. Jukebox with everything! Admittedly, we're football fans looking for somewhere to have some quick beers before a game but this was perfect. Barman even put extra credits on jukebox for us. Revommended
