Booked this venue for a funeral. It's a lovely place idea venue for Birthdays, parties, weddings and anything else. Set in a really lovely grounds with really friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The Old Barn, Jackie and all staff members did an amazing job with our wedding. Working to switch things up on a dime and being so patient with us, I will forever be grateful to them for making our day so special. It was nothing short of perfect!

Excellent staff, really friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious. Rooms were comfortable but very noisy, walls were paper thin and you could hear everything. Couldn't have breakfast due to a very early start on a Sunday but had packed lunches made which was a very kind gesture. Room was expensive at £140, probably wouldn't stay again but well worth a visit for food.

For anyone who has sadly booked the nearby Crematorium, this is a ideal location for the wake.Everything organised by the staff when you arrive with plenty of helpful barstaff and food topped up as necessary.Just a few improvements required in food quality .

Excellent vfm dining standard was very good with more food on offer than we could eat. Hygiene standards were more than adequate and good standard of accommodation leading to all in all enjoyable stay and vfm we would definitely stay again.

Great service from the team and its a nice place. Wish I got to enjoy the fireplace with a beer. Only reason not given 5 stars is my floor boards creaked and I stayed whilst working nights so I was trying not to make noise walking around my room when I got in at 4am.Will happily stay here again and probably will soon.

Love this place. Had a lovely evening here for my birthday. Food was excellent. Service very good. Great atmosphere and ambience. Fully recommended

The food was very good. It was a cold January afternoon, and the restaurant felt quite cold as the heating wasn't on. It would've been lovely if the restaurant was warm.

Disappointed. Went for a Christmas party, so fairly busy. Staff were polite and attentive... initially. My table was one of the first sat down at 7pm. Other tables arrived after and were served their food before; we'd even preordered. Food arrived about 8.15.My turkey dinner had clearly been sat under the warning lights for at least 30 minutes: everything had been over cooked, including the solitary pig in blanket (though the blanket was more of a handkerchief).I should say the lamb and salmon dinners looked a lot better than mine. We'd finished by 8.45 and it took until 9.15 for them to take our dessert order.Look, I know it was busy, but if you can't serve people within a reasonable time frame then hire more staff or book less people, rather than sacrifice the experience. The evening could've been better.Venue has good parking, clean facilities and good bar.

Had a lovely big room with a wet room. Breakfast was included in the price. There was a good range of food and they had some options for vegan food. The only downside was that I had a really bad night's sleep as the room we had (room 4) was a connection room and the people next door were really noisy all night. Not the fault of the hotel, but I would suggest you avoid a room that is connecting. Bed was comfy with tea, coffee, biscuits and a bottle of water provided. There was a fridge in the room. Lots of free parking available. Would definitely recommend it with the caviate above!
