Friendly staff, good menu and the best toast I've had in a cafe

Came across this lovely cafe after work trip to Newport. Friendly staff, tasty English breakfast with a cheap price. Absolutely recommend!

Excellent big breakfast and friendly staff

Great place to visit, the people are really friendly and the food is good also it is very clean.The food and experience i had was perfect.If I was going to critique anything I would suggest a fresh update of the shop In regards of the paint work needs freshening up to make it look more inviting this would attract more customers.

Great breakfast, warm and friendly atmosphere. Lovely staff. Loved the singalong from the ladies serving! We will be back.

I loved our recent visit to The Pot Cafe. The food is great and Angela and Kate are the kind of staff which created the great ambience. I also loved the music banter with Angela!

We were passing through Newport and stopped off here. What a gem of a place. Kate and Angela are wonderful at hosting customers in this quirky café. We would highly recommend this place and hope to come back ourselves. Thank you Kate and Angela for the delicious breakfast and Chilli & rice and the wonderful conversation. 😘❤️

Hidden gem. Friendly staff, who take pride in their job and ensuring all their customers' needs are met. Good food, generous portions at reasonable prices. To improve, more accessible toilets would be good as the toilets are not accessible for people with wheelchairs, pushchairs etc.

This is and always will be my go-to place for a brekkie in Newport. Staff are great and welcoming making you feel like extended family. Lovely breakfasts nothing more to say really. Thanks to Ange and the team for another lovely visit.

Lovely Traditional Cafe, Food is Tasty & Staff are vibrant and helpful, good range of food & drinks on sale to suit all needs, Cafe was clean & outdoor seating is a plus too. Perfect Place to meet for Breakfast before the Rugby & plenty of Covid-19 guidance visible and in place 😁 Vaccine information visible too.
