Food is lovely pub grub- steak and ale pie is the best I’ve had anywhere. Drinks on tap and wine don’t taste the best, but that’s probably for the best else I’d be there every week for food and beer!

Nice food helpful bar staff and a half decent pint of Guinness

Nice pub, only stopped in for a quick drink so can't comment on food but the place looks nice and is clean, and there is a nice terrace with pleasant view - seems like it would be good for a night out!

Great pub with a lovely atmosphere can't beat a Sunday afternoon dinner with sport on the screens 👍

Always a delight to visit this place, especially for food. It's definitely worth 5 stars for the grub. It has a brilliant atmosphere and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

One of the best pubs in Newport. Great atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices. Good service. Great roof terrace ... nothing to complain about here.

Lovelly food very friendly love it there

Sunday Dinner for me is 5 stars. Top compliments to the chef/cook. Vinny and most of the staff are friendly and just really lovely people who make you feel really welcome. Drinks are a bit pricey but your in town so to be expected I suppose.

Good home cooked food, usually busy but staff are always accommodating and friendly. Age policy gets a bit heated with the youth. Especially when there’s work groups and a few don’t meet the criteria
