Nice local pub serve bass on tap, which is unusual and good find. Food was good too.

Excellent pub plenty of room you do feel like your on a timer as there is a set time given to you as soon as you enter the room to sit down lovely cooked dinner though the five stars given reflect this just wish I didn't feel pressured into hurrying our roast dinner.

Nice place, Nice staff. I hadn't eaten there for a few years so cannot comment on that. One of the few places i go that has a spiral staircase.

Visited the pub on Wednesday having not been there for a while, and was very impressed. I must say the food and service was wonderful. I had been to the Celtic manor for a meal on Sunday and the quality of the food and welcoming attitude of the staff was way, way better at the Rising Sun! Very good value for money, I can highly recommend!

Yes very good we eat there very regularly always good value and good food. Only one suggestion I would say use larger plates.

Wow!! havent been here for a few yrs. We called in today for a Sunday Dinner and found it as good as ever. You just cant fault the service here.

Nice place. Havent been there for a few years until today. Has an impressive spiral staircase which is worth a visit in itself. Ample car parking at rear. Lots if disabled parking at front.

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday. Great service, very dog friendly (inside and outside). The meal itself was huge, very tasty and excellent value for money. It was also one of the few places i have seen where the staff were cleaning tables, areas and menus etc as soon as persons left their tables. I will definately be returning and fully recommend

We were welcomed at the door and after sanitising our hands were shown to our table.The waitress took our drinks and food order and within minutes out drinks were served.Sunday lunch was as delicious as ever. And, my goodness, the amount of beef on my plate was unbelievable .. enough for 2 meals, let alone one ! The beef melted in my mouth and although I couldn't eat it all, I made room for dessert ...lemon meringue this time .. yummy.Would I recommend this place ? Certainly. Will I be going back (again)? Definitely.Oh, and price wise this establishment is very reasonable.
