Yesterday's And The Place in Newport

Amazing food and service! Went here on a Sunday and had the Sunday roast. I chose beef and it was the nicest Sunday roast I've ever had! Although it was a rainy day the views still didn't disappoint and I will definitely be returning to sample more in the summer. Would highly recommend.

Attended 24/10/2021. We stayed for two nights, we could not get a reservation here even though we were staying in the signature rooms. I went to the restaurant to ask the FoH if he could let us know if there was any cancellations. James called to advise a table was available, a while later and we enjoyed an amazing meal. The staff were extremely competent, friendly and attentive. Senior Management please take note as James deserves recognition of his service that has exceeded our expectations, in fairness the whole staff were brilliant. This is our 4th visit, the last two have been somewhat disappointing but I’m glad you have provided a wonderful experience on this occasion.

Visited for a Sunday lunch at Steak on Six.Wasn't incredibly busy at 3pm and service was a tad slow. But more than offset by the charming and attentive Aimee Power, our waitress.Food was excellent. The roast beef was absolutely mouthwatering. Highly recommend the pork terrine and creme brulee to start and finish.Thank you.

A beautiful of pricey experience. Two starters, steaks and a mid price bottle of merlot leaves you little change from £150. But a delightful experience from the staff. Esp Marmot the manager.
