Bella Ciao in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Absolutely fantastic. It's only small but the atmosphere is lovely, the owner is very attentive and food was amazing.Was a bit nervous taking our two year old but food was available and again the owner was brilliant with him. The owner/chef was there alone tonight and apologised for the wait on food (20mins between starter and main) that's less than you'd wait in a big chain restaurant. 100% would return and definitely will be recommending it to family and friends.

If you want to travel to Italy by staying in Wales it's the perfect place , the owner is really kind and a real chef , higly recommend the bella ciao pizza with a buratta if you are a cheese lover ,the wood fire cooking changes everything ,do not hesitate if you want to eat a real italian pizza

Food was “OK”The pizza sauce had the consistency and flavour of pasata and they must of run out of salt and/or seasoning. But the dough, bread, pasta etc were all good, a few improvements would set this place above the rest.Service was good and price reasonable but a bit more flavour could easily up the experience.Will return again at some point in the hope of a more flavourful meal, but not in a rush.

Bella Ciao is an authentic, Italian run restaurant in the heart of Pontypridd. The head chef and owner is an engaging, warm and humourous man. We were on a dinner date and he was in charge of the kitchen without assistance and there were over 20 diners. Not one meal was returned and not one meal was anything less than exceptional. Absolutely incredible. The food was top notch and so was the service. Highly recommended. The only place in South Wales I go for pizza.

Great experience. Negroni, gin and Bellini went down a treat. Blue cheese from antipasto, tuna steak and normal steak were all highlights. Service from the Italian man, was absolutely incredible, so much so we received some free pizza.Cannot wait to return.

Visited this extremely local restaurant for the very first time. Did not disappoint. Fantastic, authentic Italian food. Had a wonderful evening.

After a busy afternoon of sofa shopping, this was a lovely treat. My daughter wanted to try some authentic Italian cuisine and this place did not let us down! Excellent as it is near enough in our doorstep. I just wish I was able to finish it all! We are looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you Bella Ciao for looking after us today.

Probably the best pizza I’ve ever had 🤩 Quality ingredients from Italy, cooked to perfection by Chef Mirko and his award-winning team ✨Everyone in our group loved their food - the service and ambience in the restaurant was top drawer. Save some space for the cannoli - the crisp pastry shell and delicious ricotta filling is amazing!

How disappointing! I have ordered food then they called me back saying they don't have arancini, fine I've ordered meat board instead. On the collection I've noticed that there was a meatballs starter on my receipt instead of a meat board. Then I was told they don't do meat board for take away, fine I've ordered bruschetta. When I got my food there was 2 pizzas I've said I've ordered risotto, carbonara, margarita and one starter turned out they don't do risotto because of a limited menu. Shouldn't have the website been updated to let the customers know? The portion of a starter and a carbonara is shocking, for that price they should do slightly bigger portions at least! well overpriced! and the shape of my pizza, I don't even know what this is! First time I've ordered from here because of the reviews and I will definitely not order ever again!!!

Had meals twice.One eat in - great experience - ordered non pizza meals - Delicious.One take out - ok experience - ordered pizzas - dough was ok to nice, minimal toppings, poor presentation.Reasonably priced.Good service.Rosè and Brownies are separate purchases and not part of the meals we ordered as part of the takeout pizzas
