Excellent Place. Fantastic Staff. perfect, very friendly and truly great service staff.. who definitely seem to know their stuff, and then sum! What bad points can I add...NONE! This truly is a great place! Go there, you will definitely not be dissapointed. Food is yummy in my tummy lol. Place is very clean and staff are always polite, professional and willing to help. Good points = everything. Bad points = there are no bad points in my personal opinion. Go there, you will not regret it!

When me and the lads arrived at Pontyclun we didn't know what to expect. We embarked on a pilgrimage, of a meed worthy enough to quench our very dry thirsts. When all seemed lost we came across a diamond in the rough, the Palace of Pontyclun, The Brunel Arms. We spent little coin on a nice, refreshing pint of Strongbow dark fruits. We spent little time chugging the meed down our mighty throats. When the pint was finished I immediately raced to the bar for another. The lads and I had a lovely time, sharing stories with the locals, enjoying in a nice, simple, cigarette and partaking in a game of snooker. My heart broke when we had to depart, however i know one day that i will return to the Brunel Arms. I want to my ashes to be with the Brunel Arms so i am forever chilling in the glory that is.....The Brunel Arms

Now under new management, and what an improvement!! Plenty of stock, with lots of bottled beers and cider, full sized bottles of wine and nice and clean.

Horrible Landlady the worst customer service I have ever seen! Terrible choice of wine and beer. Avoid this place like the plague I can't stress that enough

Ran out of glasses, we were offered a half pint glass for wine then ran out of whiskey, not very clean no hot water or towels in the toilets, couldn't wait to leave.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, always sure to have a fun night here! Great pool table here too!

Very friendly helpful staff. The Stella was good too would recommend a pint here
